Zontes zt125C ride. Winter has come so so-long fingertip feeling🥶

This might be my last ride video for a while with temperatures dropping so I might not get out much. If your wondering why my bike sounding like crap I had to go back to stock exhaust. The bracket on my header pipes had snapped of leaving it hanging to the engine block I'll be getting I a new header pipe specificluly for the bike soon so shout out to Rafa-ey6ve who wants good exhaust sound vide...
Why carefull is key word when filtering
มุมมอง 134หลายเดือนก่อน
I know I was doing 40 on a 30 road (dash is 3mph ahead but still no excuse) and filtering but this a lesson we'll learned today. I've seen these sort of videos all over TH-cam like this and I told myself I'd be careful not for it to happen to me, but clearly not. You need to watch both your speed and what's around you when filtering. Keep yourselves self out there folks

I have used the zontes zt125u exhaust system on my bike however a problem occurred. The header pipes fit just fine but length of the endcan on my bike is roughly 18inches so it hits the frame so either getting much shorter endcan or even one that can curve round away from the frame should work fine. However there nothing holding that endcan in place so making sure that it's clamped on to the en...
Zontes zt125C ride and review (see description)

I don't have the best mic setup, so apologies for the wind and varying audio. Also looking back at the video I realise I didn't actually give much info on the bike. Quess am not too good at road road focus and thinking at the same time. So I replace this video soon when it's nice day and I'll do a better review.

A90 carriageway just outside Ellon to aberdeen. plenty of inclines and headwinds going to aberdeen so take the that into mind when seeing the speed. my last 125 (10ish horsepower) just handled 50-55mph with the same conditions
"sorry, so sorry". Tan friendly mother F'er!
What amazing roads, sod all like that in wiltshire, just like the surface of the moon.
Dude you need to be more aware of your surroundings, you were doing 40 in a 20 and continued to do 40 in a 30 ! you would have had plenty more time to stop if you weren't speeding !
Hello, I have the same bike. Where did you get your exhaust?
Schon in Deutschland zu haben?
✌️😎👍hi , loving these videos and im loving this bike...whats it like going up steep hills...???
@chris-en4xu the bikes geared for top speed rather than torque (17 tooth front sprocket i think) but can still do steep hills just fine in 2nd and 3rd
Cual es su opinion sobre esta moto? Esta usted satisfecho con sus rendimiento? Gracias
How is yours treating you dude? I’m waiting for mine to arrive
@JohnnyJohnnyRecords got 8000 miles on the clock now and she's still running with a new chain and sprocket. Been acting up lately though, highly suspect it's the ignition coils, so keep an eye on that in the future on yours
I’ve got mine coming end of December roughly. How are you finding yours?
Great looking bike ! Been looking at this but not sure if the size will fit well as I'm 6ft . Also looking at the Keeway RKV cruiser Stay safe now there's a bit of snow in Aberdeenshire 👍If I ever see you in Ellon I'll give you a wave
@beglin123 am 5ft 8 and fairly comfortable on the bike. Do wish the footpegs were a little bit more forward as longer trips do make my knees ace abit. Also I stop at maggies every so often so you might find me there sometimes. The double cheese burgers are tasty there I also might add
Orite mate love video l, just a quick question how much does it cost to fill and what sort of range do u get out of it?
@philparkinson6756 I usually put about 4 litres in for about £6-8 whenever I have about 5 litres left. Am not sure how many miles with a full tank but I do know I can do 100 miles with about 7 litres in the tank.
The LCD display is very bright via the camera, what's the brightness like to your eyes? I've seen a report that some are putting some form of tinted screen cover over it? I'm going tomorrow or Saturday to view the new for the UK red colour that's just arrived and with the latest Euro 5+ omissions.
@colinphillipson4830 yeah the dash is pretty bright. Its like I torch in your face when riding in dark unlit roads. I contacted zontes and they said its not adjustable. But the tint thing has been in my mind for a while tbh so it might not be a bad idea after all.
Can you make a video showing us what it sounds like
Check out this video th-cam.com/video/lfY0RPUtM9M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hAIQMDlLIpaWlc-J
@Sum15005 yea that's cool. I was hoping for a close-up video of the exhaust while the engine is running and while revving. Here the sound is a little muffled. I really hate the sound of the original exhaust, it's too quiet that some car drivers don't hear me and almost crash. I'm a little inclined to buy the exhaust, but since I can't hear it clearly I don't know
Good morning, What torque settings did you use when tightening the header bolts please.
Have a Zontes Tiger 125, better put together than my son's Suzuki..! A LOT of attention to detail.. Not quite as good top end as my Yamaha YBR 125, but they're THE BEST 125 ever, ever..!
how does it ride ? i like the Zontes 125c that' the name in belgium, looks a lot like the Honda Rebel 500.
@pascaldesnoeck8671 For a cruiser its quite nimble one you get comfortable with the bike. Best way I can describe it is its a cruiser with a identity crisis. Low seat height and centre of gravity go with it but it has a street bike feel. However even though its got good ground clearance I wouldn't go leaning the bike like a street bike. Has decent mid range power in 3rd and 4th gear so good enough so zip round
You sound like an angry chipmunk.
you are a fucking wanker, he couldn’t see you behind other cars what were you doing is nothing different from overtaking, and all the rules of careful overtaking should have been taken into account. Hope your license will get revoked idiot
nice vid, just checking youre all good? you been quiet for a bit
I'm surprised by the lack of performance to be honest, I've got a Bullit Spirit (Bluroc) and it can hit 68 on most days in 5th gear(final gear) but i've pushed it all the way to 79mph on a downhill and this is from only a 12HP engine, I changed to lightweight battery but this is the only modification made, I would expect this 15HP bike to sit at the same speeds all day on a straight in 5th gear let alone 6th.
Lovely video mate. Enjoying you posting haha. Curious though, have you noticed performance drop since you switched out the exhaust? Ive seen posts and vids about peoples bikes dropping in performance after the cat deletes or straight pipes. Nice one, hope you’re having fun riding!
@Br0_dir I think the reason why most people say that there bike goes lean is because they also replace the air filter without adjusting the carb or a ecu remap. Ive neh touches my airfilter or my ecu and so far my bike runs just as well as the stock. Also, if you see how a 4 stroke works the air/fuel intake is separate to the exhaust outake so the only thing to upset the air feul ratio would be the air intake and o2 sensor. luckily for me my o2 sensor is directly mounted on the exhaust port, so it's only reading the fumes content coming derectly out the cylinder, not whats in the exhaust. On cars there would be a second sensor monitoring the cat but alot of more bikes nowadays are getting cat sensors such the 2024 honda cr125r. Am assuming that it would have something to do with the ecu remap to get rid of the cat sensor. But my bike doest have one so I don't need to worry about that. Anyway hope my ramble helps
@@Sum15005 It does help, cheers mate. good information, hope it helps anyone else that has a nosey too haha
Keep this stuff up if you can mate, love this bike, I have one arriving on Friday and cant wait
Thanks man. Enjoy yours
How is the new bike ? Looking into getting one.
@@NakMuayBoran mate I absolutely love it, looks amazing and rides amazing, got a bit of punch to it too, clutch is nice and light too so doesn’t hurt a new riders hand too much
@@NightKnight2411 how many miles have you done so far ? Want to use it as a commuter to avoid traffic
@ I started riding it on the 24th November which is when I turned 17, I’ve done almost 500 miles on it now but it’s great through traffic and easy to handle

Well excited to get mine, them lights look good on camera. How are they in person? Same good view?
@Br0_dir pretty good, although I don't see the stripes on my view. there adjustable aswell according to my manual in which I might reposition it a few inches higher
Sup man, great video keep up! I was wondering if you could explain to me how the keyless system work... i love this bike my first choice was the k-light 125 but after i saw this one, oh man. The only issue like i said is i don't really know how the keyless work, if i leave my remote near the bike someone can just boot it up?
@Giovanni-wl5jq yes your right about that but its a small radius. Walk about a metre or so away while the bikes on and it will turn itself off. If the bikes running it doesn't turn itself off.
Bonjour, le compteur es t'il en mails ou en km?
I commented asking about insurance and you answered just after 😂quite good it seems, im sold on it 😁
Just as i check the bracket placements i read your comment. looks like it works nicely, but a snub would fit alot nicer! On the list now haha
Nice bro, what exhaust system you using
I've got a black widow full system. Bit loud to be honest but beats the cheap looking stock one😅. I'll be getting a silencer baffle soon so it'll level those decibels a little without losing the sound😁
@@Sum15005 nice that. Noticed the sticker but wanted to be sure. Going to have a look now, didnt realise there was Black Widow for the 125c yet 😎
@Br0_dir you'll be hard pressed to find one specificly for this bike. I only ever found one (a custom one), but its gone now. Check out this video I made th-cam.com/video/2p-i0ardx9o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8_5y2sRtAdLyb4HN. Might help
@@Br0_dir www.blackwidowexhausts.co.uk/200mm-round-stainless-slip-on-silencer-5630-p.asp if you watch the video take a look at this. I replaced the one in the video with this and it fit alot better
@@Sum15005 nice one, have you used this one with the DB killer in it or doesnt it work? Dont mind a loud bike just dont want to blast everyones windows 🤪😂
where you at?
i brought one of these back in may, absolutely love it, the only issue iv had withit is the seat lock which will release going over speed bumps, they look so good, iv had many people ask me about the bike, fuel economy is amazing, the ride is awesome , low seat Height for shorter riders, wouldn't recommend if you 6ft or over
@shaunhurst7638 the seat is actually the only real problem I've had with the bike so far. Mirrors were a faff trying to get into good spot but am neh bothered now. But I had a problem with the latch on the seat aswell. Wouldn't lock the the seat so if you gave the seat a hard tug it would come right off. Luckily with the bike under warranty got the latch replaced when I went in for my second service. Also, what do you think of the seat when you're sat on it. I feel like there's no natural 'butt mould' on it and I find myself shifting around on the seat alot
Am only I little higher by a few in centimeters so you'll easily be able to put both feet flat on the ground. Also the handlebars have never been an issue in either height or arm length. Not sure how to answer what I think of zontes though. My first bike was a 2016 zontes mantis with 4 previous owners and was still working fine when I got it (of facebookbi might add). Ive done close to 3500 miles on mine so far and I've had no problems yet but I can't say for the next 3500 miles. However zontes have come out with some decent bike lately (from what I've heard) such as th zt125u and u1 aswell as either/or the g1 and gk so I quess there's that. Only way to find out is to get the bike and find out I suppose. I ve had great fun on the bike so far so hope you enjoy when you get yours😁
hey im looking to get this as a first bike, i am 170cm tall. would the handle bars be high up for me or is it quite a good fit. Also what should i be concered about when buying a zonte bike.
Prędkościomierz w milach?
@tommyg.4887 mine was delivered in mph, however I would assume you can set it to either mph or kph. Ask the dealership or owner you buy the bike from
Cheers man appreciate the compliment. It's a great bike and easily a 9/10 but has a few bits here and there. seat could be comfier , the mirrors are in a awkward position where I need to look from the road to look at. But... for a bike that only cost me 3200 including OTR and delivery she delivers some surprising performance. I can easily keep up with most traffic even on a carriageway. However still being a 125 wind and hills can take away upto 10mph. Been to Dundee on it now and I had no problem with either performance, bike over heating and other than natural sitting fatigue could ride for miles with needing a break. Ive only done 2500 miles on the bike so far but if your worried because its a chinise bike, I don't feel to worried. If you can find one in stock and you like this style if bike I say go ahead. I had no regret😁
What would you give this bkie out of 10....?????
✌️😎👍hi lovely bike and i like your driving abilities, im seriously thinking about buying one if these they seem very unique..you got any advice or more videos on the subject....✌️
Marks out of 10?
Getting mine on Monday.
No regrets buying mine, it's a lovely bike. Looks great and performs great for a 125. Hope you enjoy your new bike🥳
@@Sum15005 Yeah mate. People are stoping me to ask what it is. ahaha. guys at the bike shop thought it was a 1100cc ROTFL! xD
sadly not Available in Germany.... NICE Bike.
Can you not get it exported
@@Sum15005 Maybe i Can, there are no Service Patrners in Germany, no Parts ect... No Waranty in DE.
Hey dude, I've been looking into getting this bike, how long you had it and have you had issues at all, (fear of the stigma behind Chinese built bikes)
@seanfalcus2159 I've had it about 2 weeks now so i cant talk for long term yet. But yes it is a Chinese bike but zontes has made some solid bikes lately and that includes this one. My first bike was a 2016 zontes mantis with 4 previous owners and I had now problem with that it was chinise so I wouldn't fear much about this a more modern one. It has a premium feel without the high price tag. And that 14.5 horsepower engine definitely surprised me. Compared to my previous 125, I can keep up with the traffic a whole lot easier. But it's still a 125 so wind and hills will still slow you down. If you have a any questions I'll see what I can reply
