sharp, thin and hollow sound, very disappointed.
As some say sharp, some may listen to on point. Some say thin, some may say not harsh trebles to make somebody ears bleed. Some say hollow, some may say it has great layer separation and decay. More about preference and also since this is a recording from an iPhone 13 Pro Max with not knowing the user end point. Results will vary.
@@Vintage_End I'm getting an A8 next week, can't wait! Had an ESS DAC for a while (aune X8), want hear it a bit more natural and organic from the A8. This is a dangerous place to put out HiFi audio recordings from smartphone mics, a dedicated recorder/mic would be better ;) Thx anyway!
@@HiFiModsGlad to hear you are receiving your own A8! Hope you find satisfaction similarly! Like personally I really love the sound characteristics of the A8 which give streamers at the 3,000 - 4,000 USD point a run for their money.
