A True American Working Man, Not many of us left. stay alert out there Brother 💪, Thanks for the tour.
You’re welcome my friend, thanks for commenting. “American working man” never thought I’d hear that, but I do enjoy running a service based business. Being in a position to help our home owners, while being in control of the price, is a nice change. Not always the most profitable, but overtly fulfilling, and worth the ups and downs
Truck in the thumbnail 🔥
That’s my medium budget rig! A literal barn find. A farmer’s old 2006 dodge ram. She was stored in an old barn after being retired around 2014. I wish I would’ve recorded the day I went and looked at it. It was covered in the typical, miscellaneous forgottenbarn junk you’re all too familiar with, at least 2 inches of dust all over, a mouse nest in the hood liner, cobwebs, and every direction, rusted out and seized brake hoses, and front calipers … BUT she’s a Georgia Florida truck the frame and cab have no rust. 93k miles $10k. Being a farm truck and specifically the mega cab 1500. She’s going to need a transmission rebuild sometime in the future. In case you didn’t know the 2006 5.7 mega cab is is available as a light duty truck. The trucks were sought after by farmers, and business owners because of how big the cab is and for the fact, they saved money when they registered it due to its GVWR. The 2006 gasoline version ram 1500 mega cab. Is built on the three-quarter ton long chassis. Comes standard with solid front and rear 8 lug axels, and the RFE 545 transmission. Other than a few minor issues it was a great workhorse for him and it’s been a great tool for us. We definitely look forward to putting some better suited tires for pulling a trailer, possibly putting a built transmission in, and more than likely driving her until the wheels fall off. Hoping to find another

We were at 450 bro you’re right on the money
So what did you charge
450-500 on concrete
Home owner with 4000psi roof clean 10% shc. Can I use 2 Downstream injectors in series for a stronger mix?
Negative. You would have to build a 12v forced injection system to run hotter with a DSI. THEYVE BEEN OUT FOR A WHILE, but if you go that route might as well just run a stand alone 12v and run 7gpm
Imagine what the inside looks like
I try to avoid fast food by any means necessary. 😅 unless I’m contracted through them
Should prolly use a hydrant wrench
Want to donate one?
Lol, you’re definitely not wrong. It would be extremely difficult to wash without the lances hooked up to a line. However, if you look a little closer to the lance on the right, it is bent AF.
They’re not attached to a tube 😮💨
lol you ain’t wrong, it would be very hard to wash without the lines hooked up. The lance on the right is bent AF
Drop your questions in the comments, we will respond via video to every one
@team_motovation yes sir. Pretty efficient. We’re planning on running the 2, 5.5GPM units in line so we can surface clean at 11GPM vs my stand alone 8
Hydrant valves can break if not operated correctly and can put a whole city block out of water if it breaks! Some silly kid used his grandads big pipe wrench to open one on the corner so we eRrrm...they could play in the spray and yeah it Broke! 🤪 So FYI only ever fully open or fully close a Hydrant valve! Neighbors were very upset! 😜
lol thank you for this comment! I played in hydrant water as a kid when we didn’t have central air. I never knew that could happen 😂 talk about draining the main vein lol
that pressure washer looks powerful lol 😂
8 gallons per minute, up to 3500psi and 250°f 😅
@@NotPressureWashers wow that’s a lot!
@@team_motovation it is definitely more than I need for 80% of the work we do. Hopefully in the future we’ll get some larger concrete cleaning gigs 🫡
@@NotPressureWashers yeah, i bet that pressure washer will handle great with the concrete.
I downstream now but i loved using my modified xjet i used way less SH the only downfall was having to carry around a 5 gallon container but i was just as fast with it
Yes sir. We often still fall back on the pump up for trouble areas if too small to run the 12v Our injectors are high draw, we go through a ridiculous amount of SH, we could probably dial in our process and cut corners to save on the bleach. I’m frugal when it comes to the chems, my dude Zach lays it on layer after layer lol
@@NotPressureWashers using my xjet I may use 3 gallons of 12% on a full size house 2000sqft and under and I'm in and out in less than 2 hrs

Man! I need a setup like that! I’m trying to get into dumpster pad cleaning and I’m barely in the downstream injector to work phase.. any tips?
You’re having issues with your DSI? Are you on TikTok?
@@NotPressureWashers yea it’s not sucking up the chemicals. I tried moving the 5 gallon bucket higher that the pressure washer and even lower. Any tips? An I’m not on TikTok.
@@ConstructionWork559 make sure the arrow on the DSI is pointing in the correct direction. Make sure nozzle is the correct tip for low pressure. Make sure you have hose clamps. Air protrusion is the main culprit for issues in this line of things
@@ConstructionWork559 if you have the TikTok app follow me @ notbluujeans I have years of educational content on there, many episodes talking about DSI and soft wash
What kind of machine are you using and how many gpm is it? I have a Mi-T-M 3.5 gpm 3500 psi that I use for my fleet washing. I love the machine but I want my downstream injector to put out like yours does. I guess your machine is at leasy 8gpm and that would make the difference.. idk... Thanks for the video
This is a hydrotek 8gpm up to 4k psi 250° I run 8 at 3k psi. I use a GP high draw injector. It does pretty well my friend
What machine is that. Thing looks nuts
It’s a hydro-tek hot water unit. As far as a power washer goes, she’s pretty righteous. Sued my previous employer… 😅 No cap 🤣
what chemical are you using
I wish there was an easy, and cheap answer for you my friend. My apologies for the terribly delayed response, took a social media hiatus for a while. Here’s the best answer I can give you. If these trash trucks are pretty clean, zepp industrial purple degreaser with a splash of soap is a good low cost maintenance option. However that’s on a rare occasion. When they are filthy, we use a plethora of solutions. Some of those being; power 1, ripper 1, ripper 2, panel bright, alumabright, breakthrough, and other raw mixed cleaning solutions. Sometimes these trucks are covered in oil based stain, house hold paint, food oil, automotive oil, hydraulic fluid, grease, rotten roof, animal stool, asphalt, road oil, dust, etc etc This is probably one of the worst things anyone running a wand could clean. Second to a transfer station imo Other types of fleet work are much more consistent with the chems needed.
😊 *promo sm*

I wonder how good they would be riding a motorcycle in the rain? Great review man...now get back to work!!!! Cheers

Consider getting a general pump, anti-fatigue trigger with a Hotsy dual lance wand. Or the Hotsy anti-fatigue trigger with the Hotsy dual land wand.
In just uploaded a video on the dual lance wand
$200+ 😂😂😂😂

Are you required to reclaim the waste water?
Depends on the infrastructure. A lot of restaurants in capitol cities have oil traps in their drainage. If the restaurant does not, the next proper step is to follow up with waste water, to see if their infrastructure can handle the volume of degreaser going in the drain. Most of the time, when we’re using a couple gallons we are all good. The only times reclaim is warranted is if the restaurant drainage doesn’t have oil trap and waste water can’t have the volume of chemical you’re using, OR if drainage runs into waters of the state as defined by your state code

Looks great! Untill they empty and move the dumpster around for all to see. The guy did not even clean under the dumpster!! What do you do for an encore sweep garage under the rugg? Oh by the way whats the name of your company?
I also work for the trash company When the dumpsters get picked up they get put back down in the same place. Washing commercial entities does not include moving the dumpster itself.
@@NotPressureWashers Thanks for the reply. I feel like cleaning under the dumpster should be part of it. But if they say not. Then awesome for you!!
@@MegaAaron42 yep we do a solid rinse under it, but as far as moving it, no sir. Most of the crud is outside it’s the dumpsters footprint. Mainly from lazy employees not tying bags and spilling them as they’re trying to get the bags into the dumpster. And food oils they shouldn’t be throwing away. But we use a 20-30% mix of sodium hydroxide and other chemicals with 250° water. So they’re completely sterilized when we’re finished
Why the hell u don't show the finished product 🤔goofy
