Only recall visiting Cleveland (by train) once in either 1953 or 1954 to a large department store. I remember Cutahoga River catching fire in Youngstown, i think in the late 1960s or 1970s. Lived for a while in Wellington & Austintown .

I grew up in nearby Lyndhurst. In the 70's, I had seen Rocky Horror way too many times and bought a lot of albums at Record Revolution! Oh ya, Val's Tavern for the best cheeseburgers and The Flipside for live music on Mayfield near Noble 😊

Went to St Anns school, lived on Coventry and East Overlook, saw my first adult movie sneaking in the back door of the Heights Art theater in the mid 70's at the age of 16, and bought my first bong at Record Revolution. From Cumberland, to Tommy's to the Coventry library, fabulous place to grow up. Thanks for the memories!

My mother was part of the hall of fame volunteers, collecting signatures at Great Lakes Mall. Her musical tastes changed before it was built, so she lost interest in seeing it when it was completed. She would roll over in her grave if she knew rappers and country artists were inducted.
