In arrow, Connor is the son of Ben Turner/Bronze Tiger (who we’ll remember was one of the Suicide Squad members that redeemed himself fighting alongside Diggle while he was working with ARGUS). ARGUS lost a lot of influence after Waller’s death; they were also very corrupt so Diggle formed his own Agency - Knightwatch, and Conner (being older) was an agent in it and took to learning from Diggle. It’s implied JJ wasn’t as interested/joined at the hip to his father as Connor was and eventually Diggle died and JJ took to other crowds; he discovered the Deathstroke gang, joined it, and eventually became leader of it as form of revenge for feeling abandoned.

@@pmparda Ah, but it was Oliver that rewrote the timeline. He could have easily had them remain in the past. I mean, he brought his mother and Quentin Lance back from the dead (but not Earth 1 Laurel, which is inexplicable).

I liked season 8. It felt like the first season again. I skipped season 7 because the internal conflict within the team got annoying. I mean, Oliver wasn't the easiest person to work with but his apprentices' hypocrisy was ridiculous.

​@@evilcleo exactly season 7 got me so angry Oliver suffered a lot, Diaz killed him psychologically and the team drifted apart everyone left oliver he was so sad and lonely even Dig left him😪😪😪 Season 7 and season 8 were the worst and confusing for season 8. The dead of Oliver was not necessary and 20 years after his dead Felicity died too and met him in another side of life wtf😑😑

​@Rushi420eh. Whatever the writers decide, I guess. 1. He was swinging. He had forward momentum, why would he fall straight down? 2. Why wouldn't the cap have multiple functions? Serving as both parachute and glider? 3. Batman being Mr. Preptime and contingency plan for everything, never calculated a misstep and falling from the sky? 4. I'm pretty sure there are many depictions of Batman slowly descending straight down and gracefully landing.

To be fair they should’ve realized. They’ve already been through so much craziness with the Mar Novu stuff and knowing Barry. So idk why they were so shocked. I know it just adds emotion and drama to the scene but it’s as if they completely forgot time travel and alternate realities exist.

And then Mia was the opposite. Oliver was about to hug her and she was like nope. She was not open at first but even revealed why she was angry at him and then eventually got past that to finally have a good father-daughter moment.

William grew up with Oliver at some point while Mia didn’t. That’s why he was so opened toward him.

@@NickyHelp From what I remember, she lived in a dystopian Star City where she heard many contradictory stories. Some people believed Oliver was a hero, some other didn't. However, her biggest problem was that the only thing she really knew about her father was that he died before she could even remember him, and since she wasn't there during the Crisis, she couldn't really understand that Oliver had no other choice but to die to save her and everyone else, she felt like her father simply didn't love her enough to stay with her and Felicity. Unlike William, who lived with Oliver for a time and saw him save the city countless times and understood that being a hero sometimes means to sacrifice yourself for other people, including the ones you love.
