Laxman Sivaramakrishnan bowled for india |1985|Rare match
Sivaramakrishnan first drew attention as a 12-year-old, claiming 7 wickets for 2 runs (7/2) in a Madras inter-school championship game. At fifteen, he was the youngest member of the Under-19 India squad that toured Sri Lanka under Ravi Shastri in 1980. He began his first-class career at the age of 16 in 1981. Sivaramakrishnan made an immediate impression. On his debut against the Delhi cricket team in the quarter-final of the 1981/82 Ranji Trophy, he took 7 for 28 in the second innings, all the wickets coming in a spell of eleven overs.[2] Because of this performance, he was selected in the South Zone side to play the West Zone in the Duleep Trophy. After going wicketless in the first innings, he took five in the second, including the wicket of Sunil Gavaskar who padded up to a googly.

Shoaib's theateratics might look terrifying and brilliant in reels nowadays but those who followed cricket in early 2000s know that such actions were mostly counterproductive as they resulted in extras and seldom caused any trouble for good batsmen specially Australians who were quite comfortable against Shoaib.

@@MultiRambo008 And what good came out of it? Most of the times those deliveries used to fly above the keeper's head straight to the boundary. Easy 4 runs. Any series or tournament Shoaib helped win except 2002 Australian ODI series and 2005 England Test series? None.

This was a Super Series match between Australia & World 11 held in 2005. It was undoubtedly one of the best Cricketing events featuring 3 ODIs & 1 Test with Australia winning all the matches. I was in my Junior College back then & happened to watch these matches bunking college lectures!
Cricket needs matches like this again.. It would be fun to watch something like Australia vs World 11... 90's Australian team was a beast.. Miss good old days 😢

As a 90s kid it was a treat to watch these beasts bowling...specially in 2003 CWC at their peak... Lee,Akhtar,Bond bowling at 155+ with swing... A golden era if FAST bowling...which is sadly no more now..😢
