How I use AI as a Student
aye what's up familia
In this new chapter of my life, I talk about how I use ChatGPT and Claude (AI chatbots) as a Computer Science Student to boost my productivity and use my time more efficiently (Finish all the sh*t that I need to do).
Using Artificial Intelligence makes the student journey way smoother and easier to learn all the information (survive midterms and finals).
HUGE respect to my guy ChatGPT for helping me.

Got a beat up old T430. Put a better CPU in it; been a splendid laptop (except the screen is a bit small). Carried me halfway through my schooling so far. I don't really own one for the minimalist purposes, they're just great laptops. Feel like you're getting some real work done on those bricks.
Which linux are you using man
arch
Maaaan we share a lot in common
He uses arch btw
What brand of phone you are using?
google pixel 4a
productivity tip: use more minimal window manager so you dont get distracted

@BunnyKhatri-pd8zm he is using hyprland, riced by prasanth ranagan aka HyprDots
The use of AI for an efficient study - just study - is indeed a fact. I, personally, use AI to take some notes. For example, I have to study some chapter from a book. I ask the AI to make notes for each paragraph of that sub-chapter and so on. BUT, I need to clarify something very important: We should not depend on AI. We need to put energy and time into studying on our own. It is good to try to understand some part of a book or lecture on our own. There is no point in using AI for our study if we are not able to understand what information it has given us and whether it is - potentially - correct. We need to use AI to improve our already knowledge of the subject. And making it easier for us to recall faster - with the help of an AI - information or missing knowledge. Especially if you are a programmer that wants to work as a programmer. You need to learn code your own, you need to limit the power of AI especial if you trying to work on a project - ofc, learning the fundamentals of coding is another story and AI can help. But as I said, DO NOT depend on AI~
yeah man, 100% agree with you AI makes the whole process faster but it's really 'easy' to be dependent on it
Yeah, I agree that AI should be treated as an “auxiliary” tool for studying. I’m probably doing this all wrong, but for example, I’m also a CS student; if I’m reading something, with a bunch of keywords or things I don’t understand, I ask ChatGPT to make a flashcard - how you make that flashcard is important (so be specific about how you want it). So say that I am learning about software development stacks; I will ask CGPT to use the terms: MEAN, MEVN, MERN, LAMP, WAMP. Then, give each term a definition that is concise and easy to understand, and provide samples. I manually check each card before I upload them to Quizlet. This is how I retain information fast.
I use arch btw, yeah that’s the “main” hidden reason
nahh I use arch btw
