      Thank you for the comment :-) I made this video a little while ago now, but still play regularly. I had to turn down a few more of the graphics settings after the latest update, but your M3 should handle a bit more than my M1. Regarding the controller, I am more of a keyboard and mouse guy. I'm sorry, but I just can't imagine a decent pair of speakers for 25 USD that's just ridiculous. I've bought enough Creative products by now to realize how often a lot of their claims end up being baloney. They honestly look like just two chunks of plastic with a knob, and while I'm sure they are fine for.. a laptop presentation or something and I'm sure they're an improvement over any internal speakers in a tablet, or phone, or laptop- it would still be better to just spend a little bit more for something with a proper center or sub channel. We don't know anything about their longevity or how LONG they sound somewhat decent either, which is kind of intriguing considering Creative is already pushing newer iterations of the same speaker design. Just seems like another "plastic thing" to throw out a few years later.

      @@BrigadoonZyphoon Wow. Okay. Thanks for your thoughts. I have used these almost daily for quite a while now, and they have shown no sign of degradation. • @IrensTech
      @IrensTech หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@7amoka Honestly, for quiet listening with no ANC, they will be quite similar after a bit of an EQ tweak on the Q30s. The XM4s main thing (and in my opinion the part that justifies the price) is the ANC. (as wall as my wife owned a pair that still works) They are still going strong in battery life and function only the ear pads tear up on theses models. The company will replace the ear pads at least once while in warranty. Even if I have to duck tape the ear pads one day or just buy replacment ear pads the price is totally worth it. I trust this companies products. I don't even care about ANC features, I just need good quality sounding wireless headphones. I just bought an early 2016 model for £150 and couldn't be happier with it. If someone told me that this thing came out this year I would believe them. The size is perfect and the thinness. Just for watching TH-cam and typing some documents now and again, it's perfectly serviceable even now. I'm going to use open core legacy patcher to see how it runs Ventura or Sonoma. Mine supports Monterey natively which runs fine, but id prefer to be on newer software if possible But for the price I paid for it, even if it only lasts me a year because the SSD kills itself (which is a notorious issue on these models), for 150 quid, can you really complain? Does everything you''d expect from an 8 year old laptop now at this point. Keyboard on mine has had very light usage and feels really nice to type on. The previous owner kept it in pristine condition. Original battery too with only 196 cycles on it when I picked it up! Web browsing isn't even slow. I bet if you tried using a windows laptop from the same era for the same price it would be borderline unusable

      Thanks for the comment :-) Great to hear you are still finding regular use for one of these. Mine is in need of a new battery and an SSD upgrade.

      @@IrensTech : I will skip the SSD upgrade and try to eke out another year, or so, from this 2014 computer. Then, I think, I will go for an up-to-date MacBook Air (I dread the transition. No matter what they say about how easy it is to transition, I know it will end up being a headache.)

      @@pilotusa it wasn’t so bad when I stepped up to an M1 Air for most of my work. I got an external SSD which helped massively to transfer things across.

    Good for editing photos?

    • @IrensTech
      @IrensTech 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment :-) It does ok. The screen is older, so not quite as accurate as a newer model, but it can do it. Exporting large batches of photos might take some time though.

    Is it still worthy to buy in 2024? For watching Netflix, Facebook, TH-cam

      Thanks for the comment :-) If you absolutely cannot stretch to a Mini 5, then the 4 will work. It takes a bit longer to load things, and can be a little glitchy with Netflix, but it works.

    Can i use this headphone for my online classes 8 to 10 hours

    • @IrensTech
      @IrensTech 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment :-) You probably could. I find I personally cannot wear any pair of headphones for more than a couple of hours without needing a break. These are quite light though, and after a bit of a break in don’t clamp too hard. The noise cancelling should help hearing the classes well.

      I have a few MacBooks from around that time and they are all still ticking along. You are right about the 8gb memory. This old Air is quite limited by only having 4. It still has its uses though, and I am astonished the battery still works!

    It works extremely well for all Office and online tasks. But the 2017 version with an i5 is much better, as it runs Ventura, which had some important new macOS features in many apps. Sometimes some programs like Excel take a while to start but once they’re running lighting fast, just as fast as on on my one year old MacBook Pro (which is almost weird TBH). I also think it’s great that you can run Windows 10 on it, also works super well. The biggest advantage is how portable it is and how comfortable the keyboard is, it’s clicky and extremely comfortable to write on.

    • @IrensTech
      @IrensTech 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment :-) You are right in saying the 2017 version is quite a bit quicker and more compatible, but this little 2015 MacBook still does the basics. I don’t really need it to be more powerful or do anything more complicated as I use a much newer Mac for that (M1 Air). As you say, the lightness and thinness of these things just can’t be matched. Cheers
