Thanks for this video! I have basically the same problem as everyone else in the comments. Low bean too dim, not aligned, always using high beams etc... I was gonna do Doordash tonight but it was raining and the sky was too gloomy. I think we all agree, those are the worst nights to drive, especially with our sucky Altima beams. So I called it a night and made no money. I'm gonna go get that long ass Phillips tomorrow and finally be done with this headache.

Thank you for sharing this. My 2013 was the first model year with the headlamp delamination issue that was the subject of the Suarez class action settlement. I learned about the settlement too late for free replacement and my dealership wanted $1,600 in parts & labor. I got the headlamp assemblies myself and the labor from a local mechanic for 20% (!) of the dealer quote collectively, but they're not aimed correctly so I'd been searching for a solution.

Hello, I also have a Yamaha Majestic, I changed the oil and filter a few days ago and a strange ticking noise started from the camshaft, but the draining of the small screw you did, I never knew about it, could it be related to that?

They are good for one use noncritical tools. How did you decide to adjust the angle of your lights? I might just use the garage door as a target. Thx....

Excellent job explaining this! We just replaced the headlights on my son's girlfriend's '15 Altima and she called later that night saying the lights were way too low. She had to drive with her high beams on in order to see properly. After the job it was to replace the light assembly, I was ready to tell her to go to a garage to get the lights adjusted. Your video saved her money. Thanks, I will be a new subscriber.

And also if you do some research 2013 altima had bad projectors , you need to replace the whole assembly they used to do a recall , but they no longer do.

If you do some research, those headlights are not meant for LED lighting The projector that's in front of the light is not designed for an LED Information straight from the manufacturer.

Hello there I just had to replace the whole headlight on my 2014 Nissan Sentra. In the beam is much lower than my passenger side and I can’t figure out how to raise the beam with this method apply do you think or what you know. Thank you.

I have a 2014 Nissan Altima 2.5 S, and after a class action lawsuit, they replaced the headlamps(I installed the LED For Low and High Beam); once they replaced the headlamps, I saw both the Low Beam light was way too down, and at night I can barely see more than 7 feet at low Beam. Hence, as per Video, the Rule is Simple. Counterclockwise makes the Beam Downward(Low), and Anticlockwise Makes the Beam upward(High). Make sure to put the same weight in the vehicle and adjust the beam.

The worst is not being able to tell for sure if it’s aimed high or low - then turning the set screw only to find you turned for 20min in the wrong direction 🥹
