Quarterback Decision Making Training Channel. Most football coaches weren't taught how to train quarterback decision making, so we created a simple systematic program that helps coaches create a repetitive pre-snap to the next snap process for their Quarterbacks to step through every play. This eliminates mistakes, allows your QBs to play fast so your team can score more points and win.
Once you complete this course you will:
- Have a repeatable process your QBs will step through every play
- Simplify your Pre-snap Keys to ensure your are not overloading your QBs mind
- Simplify your Post-snap progressions so they are making decisions systematically, not on the fly
- Have concise talking points to focus on during hectic games

Just found this week ago. I heard a comment saying no rposthis young. I definitely can see why. I’ve installed a q power swing rpo tho. I’m hoping that potentially maybe next year or later in the year, maybe playoffs to try 1 with a qb/rb mesh. I did want to tell you guys I definitely appreciated this forum. It gave me confidence. I’m still a wing t guy but we run just about all the air raid concepts. So we’re wing raid I guess. I’ve even moved my best 2 athletes to receiver slot with a staple of rbs who have no problem running buck power counter because the other 8/9 year olds are so confused 😂😂
Hey Coach, on the G Counter that the 10u team is doing, what do you teach the backside tackle to do?
If running quick game....stick, corner, fade out. 6 man box. BOB up front. What does F do? Looks for MLB blitz. Check release? Or do we just run the concept and anticipate the MLB not getting there?
I've coached middle school football for a decade and we don't have a minimum play rule, so we have a 5th quarter for those kids. This way they can play against other kids their level and the coaches dont have to worry about getting players who aren't ready to play out on the field during the real game.
How many yards are the Y and H from the tackle?
In open ?
Love this coach. Switching to air raid. We're 11u in San Diego and have good QB and atleast 3 receivers.
What’s the app?
you can check it out and try it free at playrbook.com, thanks for asking!
Can I get that playbook!? Love the way it looks! And the description’s for my 1st year coaches!
Sure thing. If you go sign up for the free account on Playrbook.com I’ll make sure you get access to the playbook and videos
I signed up some weeks ago. I watched all the videos but didn't see the playbook?
@@thomasdobson234 I’ll look you up and make sure you are connected to it on the site
This was great coach. Thank you for showing us how to make reads pre snap.
Can you just run the play to the strong/TE/wing side? That way you’ll still have your backside gimmes. A TE corner, a wide Wing stick, and the back on the swing may work? Or use a call (flop in Simpson’s system) to move your A over as a WR on the strong side, stand up and slightly widen the TE and Wing by a step and you have a tight version of your early set. Should still be able run buck sweep with them standing up and any of the quick game.
35:20 how do we beat that? stick and go.
Coach Lasker thank you for the video. What is the best way to get ahold of the Wing Raid playbook?
This site is broken. I cannot create an account. Nor can I even submit a help question.
Hey coach which site are you referring too?
This is on the strongside website. I'll check it out after father's day. Should be g2g tomorrow morning.
Should be fixed now.
That was great, thanks matt!
More to come. Will get Tim and Jeff on to chat soon!

this is so relaxing to watch. snap concepts all over the place!
Thx coach! Glad they helped

Definitely its own sport now when we are talking about girls and women
Big time. With flag now coming to the Olympics non tackle is truly its own category
Are you reading anything to decide on throwing the screen? Or screen is called pre snap?
We are just counting numbers on the outside (not the safety) if we have the advantage we throw the screen if the numbers are even we run GT
This was 🔥
Coach do you run any rpo’s?
so could this system work at the 8 man HS level? Do you have an 8 man system?
Why is the field this way?
lol good eye coach. This was during Covid, we are from Northern CA and there was a club team league in Southern CA that was proffering a place for these juniors and senior to play so they could get some film for recruiting They literally put together a field on the fly and this is how it came out.
With 6th graders would you have wideouts all the way out to the numbers?
Hey coach great question. We do this exercise when selecting QBs as throwing a nice 1 step fade is a HUGE part of our Air Raid offense. Start your WR at the Hash and have your QB take the snap, take one step drop and throw a nice easy fade over the WR outside shoulder. If he can without straining and having to step into his throw too hard, move the WR out a few steps and try it again Keep move the WR out until your QB can not take a one step drop and calmly drop the ball over his outside shoulder. Just don’t go past the top of the numbers. That is where the outside WR belongs and the slot or Y can split the difference Make sense?
Sorry, that is what we do on fade out and stick since we throw fades on those For the Corner concept specially we ALWAYS want the outside WR on the top of the numbers so he has more open grass to sit in, before or after the overhang defender. Always at the top of the numbers for snag concepts the more grass the better
Coach, where can I find the material and playbook put together during this show? I am a member of you FB group. Thanks!
Youth passing system on Playrbook.com is the final result, thanks coach!
Getting familiar. So far this looks great!
Thx coach. Let me know if you have any questions along the way! You can download the playbook on our site Playrbook.com
Hi Coach, do you have a playbook for 7v7 and tackle football? I’m interested in learning more about implementing. I coach 12 year olds and wondering if this might be a good system to implement. We’ve been running Gun Wing T the last few years.
Hey coach @nick! Yes we do have free playbooks available for both. We created this youth air raid offense specifically for coaches to plug into any run game / formation set they like best.. 7v7 Youth Air Raid Playbook - playrbook.com/a/members/6eac54ba-2f81-48f9-9fd3-7e6d44e90cec/6be24d03-70f4-4820-acbe-21e702c25ec2 Tackle Youth Passing System - playrbook.com/a/members/1b510a94-b1c6-4d82-83ec-be3af5945747/09a7354c-e81b-4f27-8981-f6eae5b18f6b
You always compress #2 and #3 in Early/Late?
great question coach Murphy! I personally do but it's not a hard rule. I like it for two reasons: 1. natural rubs and confuse. 2. most importantly, I feel like if gives our QBs a better view of that 2/3 read which is typically our read for the younger kids....
Snag is one of my favorite concepts, going backside with dig(1)-post(2) opens this up tremendously as well.
love that coach. been very interesting hearing other ideas back side and I love this! it is what we do in 7v7 for sure, attacking the deep middle!
@@CoachLasker I always enjoy your stuff and your double hitch on back side makes a ton of sense as well, especially with your rules on Verts which I love. I really like my QB to peek the post, read S go corner and if no corner, go snag and when in doubt, the BACK IS ALWAYS OPEN.
I go trips backside with TE to handle DE for different look. Defenses usually shift that way and opens everything up with counter opposite
Love that coach! The higher level we get the more a good coaches DE can disrupt for aure
Is this typical arm strength and ability for a 10u Qb?
Hey coach. So we kinda gauge this from year to year by simply running out Pat n go warm up fades and just start the WR at the hash, see if the WB can hit him nice and easy over his outside should on a jog… keep scooting him out until he really has to strain to do it. Just neeed this pass to threaten the other team for our 3 grass read offense to work 10U kids that can make good decisions only need to throw 15-20 yards since we bunch those WRs down
Thanks Coach. Another Question. I had my first 7s tournament. Unfortunately, it was in the rain. I had two qbs, one 8yo throws about 20-23yds max, the other 9yo throws about 30yds max. My younger made quicker decisions when the read was there, however forced some a little and struggled in the rain. Improved when it dried up a bit. My older had an easier time throwing to the outside but was slow to pull over the middle which caused sacks and ints (did not play in the rain) How should I evaluate their performances? @@CoachLasker
😅
Great Job Coach
Thanks coach!
Thank you my brother. Thanks for realisation! God has guided you. 🙌
This is awesome! Air it out!
thanks coach!
Started following the system a few weeks back when i stumbled upon the middle school air raid webinar from a few years back, in an attempt to add to my current 5th and 6th grade offense. I am now hooked on this and my kids are enjoying it and seem to be more energized. Plan to continue the process of installing things this season and in future seasons.
Thanks coach! So glad you are finding value! Let me know if u ever want to talk ball on the show … other 5th and 6th grade coaches love to hear about how u did it!
Matt Laskar usurped my hard earned money. He took the videos and never paid me my 100 usd . He thinks he can move scot free? Not expected from father of multiple daughters to do this kinda FRAUD. God is watching!
Sorry. Mac Jones sucks
lol
@@CoachLasker do you always line up the #2 and #3 receivers stacked like that? In 3x1
When do y’all practice defense 😭
We find a little time when we need to 🤣😂🤣😂
Matt I found your content and gave me the confidence to lean in to Air Raid passing offense for my middle school team. We are lighting up the score board and kids are having a lot fun. Also a really great thing is we are able to be very aggresive on defense as well. Our point differential is almost 30 points and we do not have the better athletes its the first year playing for most my players. Anyways really appreciate it, your making football fun for the young ones
Love it coach! So glad u have found some value with it! How’d the season end?
You have any air raid 5on5 playbook for 12u?
We jam in a sit at 7-9 and Mike runs middle to end zone. More like Tampa 2. All at Middle school.
What are you using to create these plays? What software or application?
How would you set your practices up when you can’t 2 platoon? We have multiple guys playing both sides of the ball.
What age group is this?
Most of these clips are middle school 12/14u but we have now run it at all levels 8u on up.... th-cam.com/video/UNINGr9H1Q0/w-d-xo.html
How do I get the whole video?
P r o m o s m
Matt is this a new channel? Did you change terminology from the Middle School Air Raid webinar??
hey coach. we have evolved over the years as we work with different age groups and learn new things but the basics still remain, the small playbook with the same core plays. keeping it simple.
What are your lineman splits, Coach? Last season (7th grade) we went 18” splits across the board. What is ideal?
Hey coach! We always start by setting it at 3 ft splits… they tend to narrow down a bit and we end up with 2ft splits … hard to stay in 3ft in middle school 😂
