Pregnant? Now What? What to expect during your confirmation of pregnancy appointment
"...do better as a society to offer care for 'these people."? How about ...offer care for our mother's, our aunties, sisters and daughters? Humanize the women who are dying because of religious fanaticism and male superiority complexes. I understand you may use "these people' as a self care distancing in a career that can be so dark, but it is a dehumanizing phrase. Just a suggestion.
So glad I live in Sweden.
You mean yall couldn't take up a collection to get her to a safe place. Underground railroad for pregnant women.
Why do you still call an abortion the "care that they need"? It's not care, it is murder. And even worse use a very rare case to justify the millions of murders of innocent children. The place were the child should be safe. And now all of a sudden I see people in the comments "caring" about the child his/her suffering. You guys are absolutely horrific. Using words for your own selfish advantage. I can't with this society. Absolutely the most prideful, selfish, coldhearted people. And yes I'm a (29 year old) woman. 1st of all I keep my legs closed, something people have a hard time with. I don't participate in hookup culture. It is really bad for us. 2nd if I get raped (just around 2% of all abortions), I will never become a murderer. Why should I murder my innocent child? Why should I do this to my body? Abortion doesn't come without any risk. Let alone the trauma. And 3nd if my kid is disabled, I will love him/her just as much as a child who is not disabled. But that is not normal in this society as well. No, you have to be coldhearted and selfish. You have to travel, make millions, have expensive houses and cars and careers instead of a family. Shame on everyone who keeps supporting the murders on millions of innocent children.
Why do you still call an abortion the "care that they need"? It's not care, it is murder.
I will never understand why ANY woman would vote republican ever.
I don’t want to hear it. When I was a pregnant 16-year old, I was given the choice to have an abortion or be incarcerated in a maternity home. Yes, when your monitored at all times, your outgoing and incoming mail is read by someone in authority, all phone calls are monitored, you have need an approved visitor’s list, and you’re not allowed to go anywhere unattended, that’s a prison. Why? Because I didn’t want to murder my daughter. It was 1983. Yes, maternity prisons were still in full swing. I personally know 12 women who had abortions. Eight of them were forced to have an abortion through mental abuse and coercion. Of those eight, five were forced by an older woman, usually it was their mother or another older female relative. Three were forced through the same means by their partner/husband. So don’t come crying to me about not being able to murder a baby.
how do you murder a dead baby?
The irony: you’re explaining limb body wall syndrome and the devastation of this women’s story… there’s that ugly Tesla behind you.
Thank you for your testimony. I’m horrified by what this poor young woman went through and that you all had no choice but to stand by and watch it happen.
I challenge the Trump Supporters to really watch this video. Then they can decide if having cheaper eggs is worth a woman's life!!!
No sympathy for murder.
how do you murder a dead baby?
We need more doctors educating these pro-birthers on the reality of non viable fetuses and mother medical conditions so that they see that Exceptions are Really complicated and can never be properly legislated. Because Politicians are not medical professionals. Which causes babies and mothers to suffer.
For every single man and women who thinks a woman's life doesn't matter for the bitlrth of the baby, I hope you all experience the same things the victims and their families feel. I hope that would be enough for you to understand not to toy with lives that are not your own. You don't know their situations. You should know better than to be in someone else's medical business. Especially if you don't know their problems and needs.
Why didn’t you induce early?
I have a friend who gave birth to a baby who was terminally ill. She held him every moment of his short life, loved him, snuggled him, and we were all there when he passed peacefully.
The medical system is stupid, that's the only word for it, this is another example. But if you think that using this unbelievably unique story to enshrine the support of barbarically pulling apart limb from limb the healthy children of our next generation and to celebrate the demise of all the millions of people that should have been here and weren't then you are being disingenuous. First of all that woman was raped, no mention of counseling, perhaps she had some. Secondly was she counseled regarding nutrition? Why was her blood sugar left so out of control? That has nothing to do with abortion. Thirdly, when it was made evident that the child was nonviable why was she left to go full term? The whole situation being taken into account she could have been induced at week 24 or 25 (we have a cousin who was delivered at 26 weeks and is about to graduate college) before the baby got bigger (especially with out of control sugar) and that would be the least traumatic for the mother. This poor woman's story (it sounds like she had no guidance or support in general not just with this ordeal) can't be used to support an institution where the majority are absolutely healthy pregnancies and it's being used as birth control. We need to give more dignity to live overall, our own and how we're living, and to the unborn, our next generation and our descendants.
From Europe: And still...half of your ppl voted for the guy that thinks this is okay. Please fix your educational system!
I'm a 60-something mom and grandma. I remember as a teen in the 70s finding a pamphlet that described abortion and, I believe, resources. It was devastating to me to see the images shown in that pamphlet, and it has always been my PERSONAL choice to never make that decision. HOWEVER, as I grew and aged and saw the atrocities of society , I've realized just because the procedure wasn't something I could ever do it was not anyone else's right to make that decision for another woman. And, to be fair, at that time medical care had not advanced as much as now, and a woman's doctor was not able to diagnose all the things that can be wrong with a fetus like they can now. As a mother of four daughters who are now adults raising their own families, my views have widened and opened. If any of my female family and friends find themselves in need of medical intervention to protect their health and safety, they know they can trust me to understand and be the driver.
what garbage. If you are adult enough to screw you can go to another State. 99% of the 1,000,000 Abortions a year are NOT grape, Not Incest.
These laws have nothing to do with the sanctity of life. They are about control and power.
No excuses to kill a baby. If there is a genetic issue aborting it is evil . Rape is no excuse and honestly its lies . They say the baby cant live and how many do and prove the ignorant doctors wrong. Literally thousands. Your making the excuses . She was pregnant you dont really know how she got this way either. No this is no excuse. Abortion is evil. You know that these are very rare isolated cases and more often the baby is fine and the doctors just want to make money on this. Abortion is big money and you know its a life so the fact that you are saying needs an abortion is bullshit. I had a baby at 14 and I have been raped many times. You are just revictimizing the victims with a horrible procedure to kill her baby. How is getting an abortion better than giving birth on the body.? Its not. Thats a lie from the pits of hell . It still traumatizes the mother physically and mentally but giving birth is organic and the baby is not ripped apart in the process. She can greive properly . You dont allow women to greive This is just disgusting that you people keep feeding these women lies about how their own bodies work.
America ( and Florida ) you should be deeply ashamed of yourselves !!!! How can you put women through this - I am so sad for this 😢
I have zero respect for this country. I tried to serve it. I took a job I felt was the backbone of our country. It is, but now Im just going to save money and find a way to leave. You arent my people. I dont want to be associated with cruel wannabe nazi christians.
your body MY CHOICE
Thank you Dr. this needed to be said. I wish you could post pictures...I know, a horrible idea, but honestly, I'd like to see the faces of the members of the Supreme Court who knocked down Roe V. Wade, if they had to look at those photos, or if someone they cared about had to face this kind of horror show. I wonder what Amy Coney Barrett would have done if she had faced this kind of eventuality.
Banning abortion will not stop people from seeking abortion. You're just banning **safe** abortion. Look at why abortion was made legal in the first place. It's like the baby boomers have all forgotten.
Share this so the people who voted for cheaper groceries know what side of history they are on
There is not ONE country in all of europe this could ever happen. Not one! We have free healthcare. 😢😢😢 This is barbaric. America, best country in the world ? Read up americans. Shame
Whole Poland has now same law. We fought against it on the streets, now have to elect president that has any morals, because current one doesnt and refuses to change law. This is how you destroy morals and therefore society. This is how you make countries weak and divided. This directly attacks famillies. Now in case you wonder: that kind of abortion is legal in Russia. It's only banned in countries that allowed themselves to be weakened by external powers or internal enemies of the state.
When you say that people have the ability to seek care elsewhere, in other states, you fail to mention that people may not have the means to do so. It is not a plausible solution for everyone.
So why didn't all you doctors do it for free as a charity? Your crocodile tears hide the fact that you let her go through it because you wouldn't get paid to help. Are you so poor that you couldn't do that one act of humanity?
Perhaps many do.
This video popped up on my feed today and I stared at it for so long before realizing we were on the island together! I went into FM so sadly I’ve seen my fair share of these stories and I’m glad to see you spreading important information on this platform. It needs to be said 🙌🏽
It's not abortion ban is bad or wrong. Lawmakers ARE idiots because they didn't specify exemptions and there is always at least one exemption. The same is about killing people, adults, todlers, any... Killing is bad and wrong, but exceptions exist, for example self defense.
Thank you for putting this information out there. It's horrifying that you need to do so, but it is very much appreciated.
Thank you for speaking up ! These stories are important ! Keep up the good fight! 💙✌🏼
Trump Humpers are the worst
Thanks for speaking up. We need more voices like yours.
This country has gotten more and more disgusting over the years.
Abortion is NOT murder; it’s mercy. Either for the fetus or for the mother. America actually is garbage and it’s because Donald and maga.
A good example of the mantra, "listen to experts, not politicians" - politicians seldom have a clue about what they're talking about. Also: "a little bit of information is a dangerous thing."
Ask me again why I say abortion is self defense!!
Government needs to stay out of women's healthcare. I nearly died from my last two pregnancies. Politicians have no idea about how our bodies work. People will always get abortions but will they be safe? And I agree, make birth control free.
You can do better if you want to. You let six MAGAt Supreme Court “justices” decide for every woman in this country, and then you decided that you had to obey them. Now, instead of showing testicular and ovarian fortitude, and instead of choosing to help these women properly, healthcare workers are letting women miscarry and lose their lives in parking lots. SIX PEOPLE.
Rather than go to prison. What's behind this. Not the health care workers.
6 out of every white man voted for this and yet they refuse to provide free pre and post natal care, free child care until a certain age, school lunches, fund schools. They call themselves pro-life and Christians. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I know a woman who had similar to that example, but she had the baby at home with her 4 year old, no-one else. He ended up in the system while she ended up on the streets doing drugs, cause she never recovered from the emotional trauma of what she went through that day. Baby was born alive but died in her arms moments later (while she tried to hold it's brains in place)
What about the heart breaking reality fo over 60 million abortions in America? What about the care and protection of the unborn child. Who will stand up for them?
Foster care! You know...where overworked, under-staffed, over stressed, under paid people work.
@@Sue-xv8osMurder should never be an option.
Make merikkka great again? So this is what they wanted right? So sad and awful, but they just love women in this country.(sarcasm font)
And are you seriously going to illegally endanger other people on the road by driving while recording your little story there for money? And you say you care about others welfare? Practice what you preach.
If he really cared, he would have taken up a bit of cash among his peers to get that girl the out of state care he says she needed but couldn't afford. But no, instead he wants to tell a sad story and blame people who are not in any way at fault. He didn't call for harsher rape penalties and investigations. He didn't call for women to be armed so they can defend themselves against rape. He didn't call for pro-choice people to make a fund to help such women. He just complained.
It pisses me off how these men and women who are pro life have no respect for women’s care. The fetus is a clump of cells. Get that through your f///ing head. You’re not pro life. You are pro control.
Thank you for this!!!
