      I have done a fair bit of walking outside in the forest barefoot, I don't know if you would call it hiking with a pack and gaining elevation though. But I have done most of my hiking in minimalist, "barefoot" shoes and it is just so much better. You can actually still feel the ground you are walking on, not just a flat form of a shoe. I highly recommend!

    Underarm hair is healthy, natural, and beautiful. It’s supposed to be there. The hair wicks toxins and perspiration away from the body and provides more surface area for drying and cooling. You “sweat more” with no hair. Besides, shaved pits are sticky and slimy and then get stabby and prickly. Hair looks and feels sooooo much better. Good for you. thanks for the last little serendipity of today, my bestie and i went to the beach today and i did a lot of reflecting on what was blocking my joy / peace / contentment when visiting nature, we made a point of going far out enough that it was a more natural beach than i'd been to in years, as i have had such a tumultuous traumatic life in the city and not a sense of safety just going and spending time in nature alone so having someone who i care deeply about and cares about me deeply was such an important safe container for the experience, and while i felt like my thoughts were slower, i think i was expecting this exuberant healing joy, and because it wasn't quite that and i still felt some grief and fear and anxiety i was trying to demand myself to be feeling joyous instead of just being in the peaceful presence of spirit and trusting that presence as not trying to threaten me, but that lack of trust manifested as all these associated fear signs of the ocean as the vast infinity we all return to, which felt spiritually overwhelming and took me out of the actual divine experience of what was going on, watching the sunset over the ocean with my favorite person to be around, not just another creator consciousness, but someone i love, and feel loved by, but i know it was still there, and feel like nature visits are going to get more just easily blissful especially with new associations learned over time and more felt embodied reminders that the presence you can access anywhere but is more sensually felt amongst organic creation is just like, natural bliss always there for you if you need it, not demanding anything from you, not asking you if you've done enough, just offering love to you & to me

    lastly (i know lots of long comments lol i hope they're appreciated), i grapple with that sense of oscillation between wanting a life path of loving relationship/familial groundedness/goodness vs expansive and transcendent (and for me) active consistent engagement with the trials and tribulations of the world and the environment and their needs, i'm a libra lol so i know part of my path is to find and embody that balance for myself and to project/demonstrate for others, but also to become less like the scales pushing back and forth and more like the fulcrum that holds them, seeing that whether the scales are pushed down on one side or the other in each moment i can stay strong and fully in myself and centered regardless

  • @amoraampersand

    i do resonate with the merging of the occult with the religious too, as the occult to me feels like an opening of the spiritual lexicon into the realm of an evolving symbolic unfurling of continuous spiritual wisdom and emergence as opposed to something that is static and unbeholden to the ones experiencing this spiritual reality in this eternal now. my qualms with a lot of religions have less to do with whether the realities they're advocating as true are truthful (there is seeds of truth in all these narratologies we've expressed throughout time) but more the way that many claim to have found this singularity of truth compartmentalized, collapsed, codified and simplified into scripture that applies universally across all the multiplicities of time and culture and ecology, the spark of the divine is in each of them but so is it in all our stories and in the stories that nature tells / acts out in every presenternal moment. and the multiplicity of these stories is how the divine transforms from this idea of an abstract formless void/infinity of pure light into the complex interconnected interweaving entangled ecological embodied experience of living where that light is felt not as formless (and in many ways potentially terrifying) beaming infinite oneness/eternity but as real, physical, tangible, touchable, heartfelt love and bliss, which is this state that i feel like despite being (in my opinion) the actual natural state of being alive, is this one we're all desperately clamoring for instead of just letting it in, but i don't actually think we keep up a shield from that state because life is suffering or because we want to suffer or don't think we deserve peace, but because deep down we know when we access it we feel who we really are and then we become aware that to feel that (at the moment i think) seems to involve a detachment from the material fact that as others suffer we also suffer, especially those suffering immensely, those of us human and those of us non-human, those parts of us don't have access to this feeling we're letting in, so presence in the here and now (when and where we always are) is the way to remember that feeling, but when you feel it, you entangle yourself with the whole, and that's where the suffering can come back not as a self-flagellation, but as an emanating of the empathy the divine has for all of herself through you, but i think there will come a time where we can emanate that empathy without experiencing it as suffering, it's just there's so much grief we're catching up on but grief shared and processed together is the crucible and catalyst of change, and change can happen so quickly especially in this digital dreaming time we find ourselves in

      @thesourcepath 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@amoraampersand 1000% I hear you. When you see the divine as everything, not something put up on a high shelf that you could never possibly reach, everything changes. You are allowed to be full and big and mighty. And yes, we must take everything and everyone with us to be just as big as we are. In A Course in Miracles, speaking in God and Jesus terms and names, Jesus is not “the only Son of God” but one of us, we are all of children of the Creator. So in this we are equal, only it was his mission, his path to free us into a reborn state (it was not the crucifixion that was important, but the resurrection). Just as we are all on the same mission, just looking different to the Eye. This is how I come out of the suffering of myself or anyone, I understand that to do this, we all must go through our trials until we find that there is no good or bad, what truly exists is inside of us and we are Always Existing. So once we internalize this energy, all there is to do is spread it. Which then can transmute any form of reality.

  • @amoraampersand
    @amoraampersand 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    thank you for the idea of "this energy doesn't care what you call it" i think because of psychiatric trauma i find the word "god" provokes this eerie ick in me that i don't feel with the word spirit, and that eerie ick i think also comes from this history of god positioned as some universal moral code preordained and never changing with experience and known/passed down/blessed to be known by only a certain cadre of peoples, as opposed to spirit which to me is this natural evolution of the world soul through us as its manifestation, i like how octavia butler puts it as "god is change" or in 'the artist's way' (highly recommend) god as an acronym for "good orderly direction", which acknowledges that that goodness that is inherent to our truthful inherited states of being when we can lift the veil of pain actually emerges through our own intuition as the source of the whole divine subject thinking things through and figuring it out through us

      @@amoraampersand yes yes yes!!! Okay, so how I see God/Source is a very curious, creative, loving energy. Through this energy, we have been made for it to understand more and more and more. The force is continuous and it can only Be Change. Only through change can we understand anything deeper and further. Only through us can the Great Creator experience. It’s Shiva and Shakti, Shiva is the All That Is and Shakti is the flow and dance of the universe. We can only work together, therefore we are always together. You are God and so am I, this is how we are all One! I completely hear you on the god word. I am still working through the ick feeling but it has been the most transformative healing to heal this ick. All of what the ick represents is man made, the cast out of the feminine and all. God is both Masculine and Feminine, the Light and Dark, the Surface and Depth. The biggest scorn of the suffering system is this, to make God into a fearful being instead of the all encompassing love that it is 💖✨

    to me creating something from nothing is what we do with language (aesthetic and linguistic and symbolic) and that is the conversation with source and how source converses through us as creation into the material, the way an arrangement of breathe and cellular oscillations/dance in a particular pattern (whether as words or movement or tactile craft) can change the minds and hearts of an entire human ecology and through that human ecology as an apparition of land ecology and cosmic ecology change everything there is and pull from the ether of dreams things that the whole never thought it could be before uttering it, like, how the intersection of emotions and ideas transcend the formulaic and linguistically codified bounds of entropy and energy exchange, i still believe that in this realm (the physical, which in my opinion is the only realm but it is the realm that is suffuse with and contains all 'divinity' too) that physicalist constraints do still exist, like i don't personally think there could come a time where we as creators could reach out our hand and materialize an apple or an orb or a flame, however that's not because of some objective limitation but more about how the source is energy and energy follows the principles of reciprocal relation to ecology that we are the thinking apparatus of, but something like that would be a mere parlor trick anyway, not nearly as powerful as turning the meal you eat for the day and the air you breathe for the day into a concept or framework or metaphor or aesthetic turn or spiritual insight or scientific insight that changes all future history, which is what we all do all the time

      @@amoraampersand oh my goodness!! This is so beautiful. There are so many things I want to comment on! First the concept of this being the only plane, but not seeing that as limited to just what we can see. I have been into the concept that heaven is here, because once we free ourselves from the mental limitations, we start to see, sense, and feel so much more. And language!! How we can weave concepts that are created within us into this reality and creating something does not have to be in physical form. We do get stuck on the parlor tricks of magic, but the real divinity is in what we can make people feel. Because feeling is where we create our reality. That feeling in the heart space. Wow wow wow! Thank you so much for this, this helped shape a whole new concept bubble for me to dive into! 💖

      @@thesourcepath i'm so glad it planted that seed for you! Love that the resonance for you and that it activated a heart feeling like that is kind of an example in practice of the idea lol, and i love the frame of spirit as this continual conversation, full of warmth and sparks of curiosity and divine inspiration and humour, and sometimes when we converse openly through/with/as spirit the whole "god works in mysterious ways" phrase actually starts to feel less like a fencing off of the mystery and more this creative invitation to play with the mysteries as they seek to reveal themselves, and sometimes it doesn't feel that mysterious at all when we let go of tired old stuffy dogma and just listen and speak with an open heart, little example this morning was going to the cafe and as i was rereading some journaling about love the cafe owner put on that cheesy song "love is all around" and i laughed and remembered how cheeky and direct spirit can be when the guidance you need is actually very simple

      it can feel disheartening sometimes that actually seeing and embodying life in this just, free realised sovereign loving embracing intuiting way can be treated as having lost your mind, but at least for myself, losing my mind for a bit actually helped my find the heart, and when my mind returned i realised the mind is expression of the heart thinking about its felt vessel, not putting either as above though, just playing with the terms, i put it in a song lyric recently as: heart is mind and mind is dream

      @@amoraampersand yes!! I love the little thing like that, I feel this happens to me more and more. The little ones always remind me like that too, I laugh and say thank you and yeah yeah I get it!! 😘 it’s so wonderful to be with god, as a co-creator. I got the message yesterday “just hanging out with God”. It just made everything feel like god, because it is! So much more attainable. Like we don’t have to be anything outside of what we are right here and now. We don’t have to be “better” or do more. Just hangin’ out!

      @@amoraampersand isn’t it wild that “out of your mind” has been demonized? When truly that is exactly what we need to do. The ego has taken over the mind and used it as a puppet to what I call the suffering system, where we are so trained that we keep each in check at this point. The mind can be a beautiful creator if we do what you did and get out of it for a while and then it starts to listen to the heart. Wonderful!!
