I use to have this recurring liminal space/dreamcore-style dream with Black Hole Sun playing, jumping over these short thorn-covered gates in this bright grassy field. Then one day I saw black hole sun music video come on & realized it was that video but my own version my mind created into a dream 😅

Im fighting for my life in a custody battle and watching the world fall around me. Ive turned cold to a lot of things but when i put on songs like nutshell and Am I Inside i can finally feel myself crying. When you know you are so far gone mentally that you cant break down anymore...you consciouly realize that youve reached a point yourself that the mental war is over. That depression has won. There is no hope. And you begin to wonder when youll finally lose the last shred of control and when itll all finally end. When Layne sings i listen. Its the anchor that holds my mind together to push forward. But after 12 years of this hell of watching the two people i love leave over and over the pain is winning
