It was possible for 5 days after release but yea quickly got huge nerfs because he was actually stronger than the starbound xd
This is how i feel fighting cybus he just freezes you in place, reduces your damage, and electrifies you.

Yes, on different run but tryhard meta that was back then the strongest - warrior /strength. That's in the next video where I fought Starbound.

After completing last 8th dungeon ure playing alongside with Emperor Antares as a reward (u can see on my earlier video that he was quite challenging). It was also needed to end up with true ending.

In mobile version he have 8450 hp and 8850 armor, but low stats def, atack, str, this stats have on 75 or 80 points, "easy boss".
yea, remember that mobile ver. is after around 10 patches after release so many things got fixed and rebalanced
Love how for most of the early fight anatares is just in the back going "✊😐" occasionally
I needed a stronger one at the end of the fight for the strongest/third Starbound form as dual wielding can literally insta one shot. As u can see before the end of fight when he breaks though entire hp of player with only 2 attacks after missing one attack that had over 60%. Also i liked Antares more than my Gladiator ;)
i will never understand why arena champions in the s&s series were so unbalanced
main solo dev wanted to make known names strong but he took it too seriously xd

After Starbound no but u can play before final fight on entire map with no day limit mode.

@@Oscarus4250 If you beat the game on evil alignment or after clearing the 8 dungeons, Antares DOES come back, but not as we know him.

I feel like antares couldve solo ed the star bound, no need for a great sentinel when you have an powerful undead emperor controlled by bhaargle, though in the crusader coins ending and bad ending bhaargle has a reason to have 2 companions
I remember getting to that boss when the dungeons were first released and boy, was he stacking power of BULLSHIT. The fact that he was BEYOND more powerful than the final boss was kinda shitty AND couldn't be weakened AND on normal mode. I went through that face of pain just like you dear friend. PS: When he got nerfed I beat him on my 2nd attempt and made me exhale that he was another boss out of my list and if felt great.

Just got to this. It's incredibly bullshit. 20% hit chance on everything and I am on normal with tough bosses set to ON. The fuck is this balancing?

@@CLX_Tomcat Managed to get it shortly after by getting extremely lucky with how dumb the AI became. The buff from getting max spirit was 100% hit chance and Antares didn't try to move away... The final boss felt a little bit easier (which makes no sense) and even the ending still mentions him as being out there which was lame (could've just altered the ending scene slightly). I still enjoy these games from time to time but they need a massive overhaul balance wise... cuz consistently missing is never fun.
@@XXNemesisXXXX But this isn't Antares. It's just a mirage by Bhaargle as a test for you. Of course the actual Antares is somewhere out there still.
Gotta get lucky. I spammed him and always opened with the limb from limb ability barbs get which removed a random body part with 3% accuracy. Got his head after 30 or so tries.
