Stop breaking the bikes Faack!!!
Killswitch is only for emergency shut off
It s nothing wrong with the bike , just keep that button pressed longer 🤦🏻♂️until it start ! The R1 crossplane for example you need to hold it like 3 seconds to start ! That s how the engine is built !
mejor carburador.... mas mecanica la moto.
Coils
My 2019 did this when I installed a slip on. Had the bike tuned and never had an issue since.
so did the ecu swap fix it permanently? no more issues? I see the vid is 6 years old and I'm having the EXACT same issue on my 2019 ZX6R
Hey man, have you recently installed a slip on exhaust? Mine had this issue when I put my m4 exhaust on and once I had my bike tuned the issue went away. 6k miles later never happened again.
Mine is a 2019 as well.
I have a gp19 exhaust. Same issue. Is it dyno tuning that you did? How much does tuning cost?
My 2019 ninja 636 has the same issues with stalling. I just came here searching on TH-cam to see what is my best bet to fix this without having to go to the dealer. I have only 1726 km on it. It’s still bran new rig. Grrrr!
Just got mine delivered with 900 miles and I’m having engine stalling issues.
What is that side cover? Where i be able to score those dope sides
Is there a power commander installed on the bike? I have the same issue with my 636 same year after the power commander was installed I started experiencing hot start issues. I just give it a very very little throttle when I do a hot start any more because I’ve had it on the Dino many of times and it won’t change anything
No power commander, this is def a ecu issue that Kawasaki hasn’t addressed.
Wow that sucked
Ouch
Awww hell. Its just a postal supervisor
Lifted bruh
Nice Glock Hat 😁😁
Eric Shanahan you know I love my other toys lol
MmmmHmmmm I do as well🤣😂😁
The reason the start button is on the right side next to the throttle is so that you can give it a little throttle when the engine is warm in order to increase the airflow. If you had more than two brain cells you would notice.
Lmaoo
Adjust your idal screw to raise rpm
Ticano wolf idle was adjust, no positive results. Still shut off during riding!
Lol
I remember my first rodeo
Update: just picked up a 2019 636 and guess what? Bike shuts off during idle once in awhile. Go figure!
Just bought a 2019 636 and mine does the same shit. Super annoying
Brandon Simonson people need to start reporting it to Kawasaki. I reported it to nhtsa.gov so they can make Kawasaki do a recall!!
@@VoidCodex my 2019 zx6r does the same thing, I thought my bake was defective, it only happens in cold starts, but I issualy pull the throttle I little bit just to give it some air and it's been 3 years now.
just give it some air lol
disconnect the battery for 5 mins this will reset the ecu hope this helps
michaelstarwars66 that doesn’t do anything except clear the code, it’s an ecu malfunction that needs to be replaced.
by doing this then you will know the ECU is at fault
@@HekkaDopePinoy hi...my zx6r face same problem with ur video..tat means my zx6r euc got proble also?
Having this issue with my brand new 2016 636 didn't start doing it until about 1200 miles..only does is after it's warm..any suggestions?
Logannorth1988 what I did was contact www.nhtsa.gov/ratings and complained about the manufacturer not acknowledging the issue so that Kawasaki can fix the problem and make it a recall. While my bike was under warranty I went to my local kawi shop and was able to get a replacement ecu. I changed it and still got the same effect. Next what I did was raise the rpm knob a tad bit higher to keep the revs up, but yet it still dies. I sold the bike already, so not sure if the new owner of it is experiencing the same issues. Ride safe! Not fun when the motor shuts off and locks the rear tire and you start skidding! Good luck
stop opening and cut the circuit with the red button ... Stay and turn on the bike with the key
Doesn't matter. Both do the same stuff as to shutting the engine down, only key also shuts accessory electronics down
shelby both are on the same circuit, only difference the key is removable and the switch is a backup.
dont turn it of using killswitch lol ;)
LOKE 1982 lol same circuit, we’re all gravy!
hey me and my friend have 2 warriors. where is this??? in in norwalk, Please respond, id really like to know
This is in Danbury on private land.
My yzf r3 does the same thing, ever found out the issue?
EPTV different bike, you need to check out the Yamaha forums and ask other owners/members. Good luck
i have the 2015 and i used the killswitch the other day and it did this in traffic i had to try starting it 2 more times before it finally stayed cranked i think it has something to do with fuel pump pressure or something dropping so i always just turn the key off instead of killswitch
U can use killswıtch in pushing wd 40.ur problems ıs Will be delet Ok.believe me.
my only complaint is that i cant run front led signals on the grom as running lights. I understand the resistor to make it blink but i want my running lights as well. darn it
Yeah, you will need resistor for front led.
Update, they replaced the ecu.. Cold start ain't a problem no more. But I am having a hot start problem hear and there.. 😁
Guys here's a update 6/4/16. Took it to my dealer, took about 10mins to swap out defected ecu. Started the bike and rode the bike all day with no problems. Did a cold start and it idle high without stalling. Did a hot start at 200 degrees and started right up with no stall. I also was able to readjust my idle back to 1100-1200rpm with the new ecu and has no problem at all. If experiencing same thing, report your known issue and have them replace it asap if you are still under warranty. If you are not, complain and report because it's a serious accident waiting to happen!
PogiMoto Thx for sharing this. Mine was stalling on cold engine first 3000 miles, almost every time. Had to do that second attempt, which was success every time. Now the problem is gone, 5500 miles on the clock.
My local kawi is going to be replacing the ecu this week. Hopefully that will solve the issue.. And I complained to nhtsa so they can push kawasaki forward to investigate!
What have they done to correct this? I had my ecu replaced under goodwill warranty as my warranty has expired. My 2013 was experiencing the cold start issue.
