This track really fits the mood of what happened when zero realized who and what he was as well as ultimately HAD do. It was really not his fault. 10/10. I wonder just how deadly awakened would be with X's falcon armor fashioned to zero's abilities. If I were a rouge maverick I'd be terrified.

I can’t even express how I felt when this theme played. A lot of people dislike how this game handled the endings of X5, but I enjoyed it. When you fought so hard to get the pieces for the laser & the shuttle to work, you’re crossing your fingers hoping it worked. They call Zero’s name, and boom he’s evil. Your heart sinks as soon as that beat drops because everything you fought for only ended in failure.

This hits really different after going through the pandemic. All our loved ones we couldn't see whether it was family or friends because of the lockdowns. All the new people we met during it. People who died because of COVID-19, it's just all a distant memory now, or atleast it feels that way for me. Looking back, I had a good time during the pandemic (specifically late 2020 - early 2022) because I met some wonderful people who sadly nowadays I've lost contact with and some I just stopped talking with since they're living their own lives now. I haven't really figured out what to do with mine. Ironically ever since the pandemic ended I felt a lot more lonely, but I'm glad it's over since it brought so much misery to a lot of people. I hope I'm not the only one who can atleast remember this period of time with a little bit of fondness.

I remember just playing and beating X5 without Zero getting a virus and just playing the game again and unknowingly running out of time to trigger Virus Zero was easily the most sobering thing ever. Seeing Zero become the enemy and being unable to play as him, seeing him just hover there with purple energy and being unable to do anything left me just sitting there mouth agape at the screen like I was witnessing a catastrophe being unleashed in the real world in real time. Easily one of the most iconic moments in X history for me.

Cuando escuché este tema por primera vez me acordé que se pensaba terminar la saga X aqui, me dió otra vez la vibra que dió el stage 1 de Doppler.
