Hi thanks for the helpful video.. my son is in japan currently and purchase an item for me. They charged him the tax free price. When leaving Japan, does he have to go show item and receipt, passport to tax-free counter, before leaving to be sure he's compliant with the tax free purchase?.. He's hoping he doesn't have to check in further at the airport.

I read several articles on the web that cliam if purchases of duty free goods with credits cards, the name on the credit card must be the same as in your passport.If differs, you will not be able to pass through customs and will be force to pay the taxes and duties. Pls advise what was your experience on this. Thanks

Hi! I bought a lv bag at Japan but the staff packed it in a sealed bag. Does that mean that I cannot open the sealed bag to repack it into my luggage? It’s a little confusing to me as bags are considered general goods and not consumables.
