My favorite contestant on american idol sing like an angel as always :)
The studio version is better than the performance on Idol. That's my opinion.
I can’t think of this song without thinking of Smallville. One of my all time favorites.

I came here from American idol years ago I have no idea how you all got here
Very rarely do I think a cover from one of these talent shows (Idol, The Voice, X Factor, etc.) better than the original, but this version is just that and then some, Billy Joel should be proud. If Colton wasn't a fundamentalist nutjob he probably would've been my favorite contestant that season.
I hate it when the only good rock artists from these shows go straight to gospel. This song is a top ten cover for me.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that he didn't win. When he got eliminated, I screamed and fell to the ground on my knees crying. I remember that day so well. The memories are still so vivid. That was the worst thing that has ever happened in American idol history. It was America who voted him off, right? I'm sorry to say it, but America, you are stupid for getting rid of such a talented singer.
