I was 12mil gp and spent money on game. Nothing crazy but enjoyed the game enough to give them some. Conquest with DC ruined it for me and amount of time needed became to big for me.

I’m seeing a lot of new players recently along with myself and most of our guild members agreed that CG needs to give free 7 stars here and there or even in a 30 day calendar. I think player retention is importsnt and will give more money to them. Light speed bundles haven’t seen one since I started playing beginning September

They should of course nerf op datacrons, but since they won’t they should at least give the option of a full refund of datacron materials and a new level 0 datacron if they end up nerfing one. It’s not a perfect solution but it’s certainly better than just flipping off the entire group of players that invested in the datacron pre-nerf

CG has a horrible business model where they focus mostly on whales and not micro transactions. Things like LSB should be permanent and more common for early farms for new players to enjoy the game without waiting a year +

they need to be consistent, treat datacrons the same, nerf op datacrons or don't. just don't leave op whale crons around while nerfing the accessible op crons

They nerfed it because it was giving 100% turn meter with Mace's shatterpoint as long as there was at least one non-GL character left on the other team.

Inflation, did you forget that most people in the world are still suffering from inflation since mid 2022? That's likely the main reason for the drop from 2021 onwards. It will be interesting to the stats for the last 4 months with the new marquee event structure.

i think the fact that they are loosing revenue is why they are dropping exclusive op datacrons, look at baylan how many marquees are need it to unlock him and also they nerf the 'fp2'' datacrons

Thanks for putting this together. The avg player pays about $20 per year. That says a lot about pricing items. 99% of items are overpriced based on the value you get. I saw a pack that gives 1 item of the group of items for $10. I would buy it if they gave all 10 items for $10. Some items you cant use by themselves i.e. kyros or relic materials. You need a combo to upgrade toons. Even the $20 injectir packs don't come with all the parts. That is just one piece of six for one toon for one gear level. I question the value of the recent LSBs. Is wampa worth $20. Not really. In a specific game mode, yes, but only in that mode.

I'm usually not a critical person, but this was beyond the pale. The lack of communication definitely makes it worse, but even if they had given a heads up, this would still be wrong UNLESS they said something literally within days of the datacron set beginning in the game. Otherwise, you're going to have people, myself included, who will spend money and time and resources into obtaining and optimizing these datacrons. We are under the rightful impression when each new set comes out, that CG tested them already, and that they work how they're intended to. Especially in this case, where before the set even began and all we had were the written details of what they all could be, lots of people were able to predict that certain ones with certain teams would create TM loops. We figured that out from CG's own descriptions! So it was PART of the crons. Due to that, you can't tell me these were performing "different" from CG's intentions, since they did exactly what we expected based on what they wrote. Even worse, CG let an entire Season and multiple TW's go by with them, without saying a peep. Unless something is a BUG, at that point, they need to leave it alone. They put it out, they advertised it, they took our money and time to get them, and some people didn't even invest at first but after seeing their success for so long, they recently invested. So this is just CG putting something out, taking our money, then altering the product afterwards. In any other business, that would be fraud and liable for a lawsuit. I don't understand how this is okay. Sorry if I'm ranting. I'm usually a pretty calm and passive woman, but this got my blood going. This was just WRONG, and I lost a great deal of positive consideration regarding CG over this. Now how are we to ever know to trust them and go for new datacrons that sound powerful when they come out? I'm going to be worried they're going to nerf them after I spend on them. For temporary power that costs money/ time/ resources to obtain, this is malicious practise. Thanks for doing a video exposing it.

Nice bit of research! Looking at it every 3 months or so would be interesting and the 4th quarter is usually the most profitable for all games / gaming in general, so I assume that is the case for SWGoH.

If they ever want to spike the game up like crazy all they have to do is release the previous light speed bundles again

I think a great quality of life should be a 6 or 8 speed. It would get your guild doing the long ass raids instead of one run a raid.

Yeah I had 900k allied points built up cause I didn't want to open them. Finally down to 400k. And your clicking works super fast compared to my phone. It's a tedious 3 seconds between clicks. Lol

I'm 100% f2p except that one time I spent $53,000 accidentally on purpose for datacrons and farmboy luke. Let's get together and beat our meat about being f2p ❤

Yeah nice, but none of these come even close to having a half decent matchmaking in GAC. Fighting players with 10 times your GP is the worst thing in this game. Although i have to admit, opening the packs... this is incredible for an old game :-/

How about having it be a reverse pyramid where the top of the pyramid is the last back zone. Players can attack a zone that is sideways and backwards to do a full clear.

I hate it when we get stuck behind a zone. I like the idea of making each zone have only 10 teams and tripling the zone. I also like the idea of having certain zones have different requirements or matrix's. I wish that CG would give us a way to communicate better when attacking, such as a group call instead of just chat.

honestly just a reworked map with 3 times the zones, but each zone only has 1/3 the spots would be great I would help the speed of the TW and make it less "well I attacked front wall, imma look in 12h again and see where we are" and more having to actively keep up with whats happening to maximize score. Also I don't see a problem with a couple 3v3 zones to spice things up, but I don't think the 6v6 zones would be balanced well, especially with 2 leads being active at once, which might lead to literally unbeatable teams and a high potential for infinite TM generation, which would be annoying and stupid to deal with. Also I like the idea of the making a class specific buff for each Planet, but just activating it for 3 of the let's say 20 sectors each Month randomly or having planet specific Effects, f.e. Sandstorm on Tatooine (1dmg over time/turn) that is active every now and again, making it so that teams with debuffs cleanses are better in those sectors every now and again. And the idea with a 2 day period of attacking makes sense to me, as with all the different zones finding teams you can beat might be more challanging, that with the current format.
