The second video of the guide tutorial on the B4D website has a nice walkthrough on how to install it; the video is titled "Updating the Guide module", It requires 3d slicer 5.7.0. Once you have the newer version installed, the plug in will show up in the search for dental segmentator inside of 3dslicer. The plugin install window has the link to the developer page too.

I really want to learn to use this program for making theatrical prostheses, like what they use in Star Trek series and monster/alien movies and shows. I went on the Blender for Dental website and it says they have tutors but almost none of them speak English and the contact buttons do not work.

Hi, I highly appreciate your video and the explanation, just for alignment step you can increase the threshold in 3D slicer to get only the markers in a good resolution and export them and use them for the alignment 😊

Great video with tips. I have a question about bar border, sometimes it's very sharp and thin, especially from vestibular.., like in this case. And it's hard to polish without removing part of the border. Is there a way to give thickness to a border? Around 0.3-0.5 mm outside the bar for safety polishing. It would be super easy to agjust it by inserting bar inside Zr supra and slightly touching with a rubber!

Nice video BUT a concave design at the intaglio of the tissue is NEVER an acceptable design! It is not cleanable but the patient, or dentist, and leads to implant failures. The intaglio MUST be made to keep clean. Flatten the borders and/or modify the tissue to make the intaglio flat or convex but NEVER CONCAVE.

@35:50 once at this step, don't waste your time trying to sculpt within the iBar module (it's so clunky and not worth your time). Switch to the Sculpting tab at the top and use proper sculpting tools then come back to the iBar module.
