Polyphony did not expect to light those rims in the dark... they look so bright in that dark tunnel... I thought the PS5 had better light performance? Bet the replay looks buttery with Ray Tracing.

why accel beetle instead of the one with the higher top speed? Assuming the tracks are made in a way that allows for cars with less traction to effectively traverse them, wouldn't a speedrun usually want to opt for a vehicle with the highest top speed?

Probably dificulty level not set to hard ... i managed once to be 4 sec behind ... still trying with different cars 😂

I don't know what's more amazing, the fact that you got 4 minutes EXACTLY, or that the then world record time for this track still only got you second place

As a previous record holder on pc (ilya715175, pc is still broken rn) and current r.h. on switch (ILOS) in a single race category, i recommend using lynx, get in all corners tighter and start turning way earlier on "s" turn in a tunnel

Funny you mention it's like Need For Speed, because it started out as that. You can enable a comprehensive debug mode left in the game with Gameshark, where the header actually reads "NEED FOR SPEED".
