It seems like a heard a while back that it is illegal to have propane behind a locked door. I think its supposed to not have locks on it. But I'm not sure where I heard that.

I do like the drip overhang and actually think the idea needs to be expanded on. If it were a bit thicker and carved out some underneath, the water would really drip away from the camper. I'd even consider making it an inch or two longer. This would add life to the door and the AC unit. Would also clear the visibility some through the window in the door.

I need a 5' camper for my 1993 Ford Bronco. Phoenix campers have made them for Broncos, but don't anymore. There's one more builder that's done it also, can't remember their name right now, but they won't do it without charging twice as much as the other campers they make. I told them they can use an original Bronco top for the attachment points, if they build the camper around the top. Of course, the top would be cut to graft it to the camper. It would probably be your first, open thru to cab- camper. Thanks for your videos! Keep up the great work!

How much do they cost

I don't have a truck and don't see that happening for some time. I would like something that can be used as pull behind. Would you be able to build something more boxy that can be put on a utility trailer? Or, do you just have the one size and shape?

Curious if you'll be going to build flat beds and departure angles for off-road trucks?

Hey mate, I've been following you for a long time. You made a great camper! Respect! Exactly what I would like to make, as light and simple to build as possible. Since the country I live in (Bulgaria) doesn't have the bedliner you used to cover your camper, nor does it have high-density EPS foam, can you give me your opinion on whether such a camper can be made with a RAPTOR-class bedliner (or something similar, I painted my pickup with a Greek brand bedliner BODY 955 and I can say that it is a very strong coating) and with XPS foam, from the FOAMULAR® NGX® 400/600/1000 type, with a sheet size of 2x8 feet (unfortunately, this is the largest width and length of XPS foam that I can find in my country, the others are smaller - 2x4 feet). What do you think, is it possible? Your opinion on this is very important to me. Possibly for greater strength I think I'll put a layer of geotextile with white wood glue on top of it (something like PMF) and then apply a bedliner. P.S. Post in the FB group "homemade truck camper projects", I think you were a member there. You'll be a hit with the new camper.

well I'm interested in this approach for sure! I built my first camper back in 2002, fiberglass over wood. Weighed 2500 lbs. Remodeling that same camper right now in my garage, deleted the cab over and trimmed it down a few other ways to save weight. Trying to build light weight without being too weak is the name of the game! Looks like you might be on to something! I'd love to see one in person and talk about a few things. My name is DJ, maybe I can reach you sometime this week at that number. Think about if you'd be willing to build a shell that I could finish off myself, and if we can play around with the design a little bit to fit a long bed and a flat bed, If so we're about to make alot of campers!
