Thank you. It was a fast course with a couple of very slow corners were I kept losing the boost.

It is an amazing car. Nice and comfortable on the street and a beast when you want to go for it.

Bridgestone RE71 RS tires. 38-40 pounds

@@autocross1013 Thanks - I was running higher and under load the tires were getting into the upper 40s. I'll try dropping them some next time.

@@HenryTheNoodle I was running Nankangs prior and had to use more pressure 42-44 because they rolled over but the Bridgestones seem to have stiffer sidewalls so I could reduce the pressure.

Yes very competitive and still stock. Right behind me was a modified Subaru WRX STI, modified Toyota GR 86, Audi TTS, and another Audi TT.

@@autocross1013 Thanks for the quick reply buddy. I have been doing some search on various post on forums and such on your car. I have a 8Y and it is an utter nightmare to find 200tw tires on stock wheels. I can find good brands 200tw for the rears no problem but it is a mismatch if you try to find the proper size in the front. Most sticky tires companies offer the rear ones as an exact size but not the front one. for the front ones you would have to pick a taller profile tire which I am not willing to take the risk on driving two different axles on a circumference higher % diameter. I don't want to have to spend money on 18's wheels. If you can think of a 200tw tire that can fit the stock wheels or as possibly close let me know. Thanks a lot!

@@rs3tuber425 The only ones are Nankang CR-S V2 265-30-19 Nankang CR-S V2 245-35-19 which I used for a while and still have on the stock wheels. They are great tires but are oversized by 1" on each tire even though the are stock sizes. The reason I stopped using them is my tire guy wouldn't change them any more as they were too difficult to get mounted.

@@PDJ4L Thank you. This event was on the Bridgestone RE71 RS but the other events were on the Nankang CR-S V2 on the stock wheels. Both tires seem to have equal traction but the Nankangs, although stock size, were over an inch wider. They were a nightmare to mount on the stock wheels so I decided to go to a 18" wheel instead for the ease of mounting and more tire options. The I noticed that the Bridgestone tires have a stiffer sidewall.

Yes but they were slower. They are the same tires from last year. I haven't switched them out yet.

Thank you! Yes, it handles very well, great acceleration, and the braking is phenomenal. The car is lots of fun to drive!

@@autocross1013 Really curious to this as all the reviews on this car seem to indicate that the understeer issues are gone. How do you think this stacks up in B Street vs the Supra and GR Corolla?

The Audi is turning out to be an amazing autocross car in stock form. It is very fast, responsive and does well in corners if not overdriven. The problem is the driver. Too many errors.

So you are the one I saw on old posts on Mustang Source? I believe the car is now just a few miles from me but heard the owner has no interest in meeting and getting our cars together. I'll have my car at Gresham Ford Mustang club meeting this Thursday, 6:30.

@@jackwicker Yes but the Porsche and Audi TT is very hard to beat. I ran a Ford Focus RS in D street and I wish this was there also but since there is more power it will remain in B. It is competitive and I am still figuring out how to drive it faster.

I am using a GoPro Hero 11. The information is in what they call stickers which you can add to the video before upload. I have the camera on a mount stuck to my glass sunroof.

You would hope so for 60,000 plus options lol it’s a direct competition to BMW M2

Thank you. I use RS Performance drive mode with the differential in sport mode and the shocks in comfort. If wet, I switch the differential to comfort mode as it doesn't allow as much rotation in the rear. I wasn't sure this was going to be as good an autocross car as my Focus RS but it is proving to be better. The tire change made a huge improvement over the stock Pirelli tires.

@@autocross1013 It's a cool car. I tried the new RSQ3 with the same engine, and it sounds very good even stock, but it has to be in dynamic to sound good. The traction on the RSQ3 is of course not as good as an RS3.
