Best flush cutters or diagonal pliers for the money #snips #japanesetools #diy #eletrician
The Knipex contender - I watched all the reviews and know that my DIY needs are to cut 14 gauge Romex, 18 gauge brads nails, string (twine) and pull ties. This one does it all, keeps its edge, stays sharp and requires little effort for the cut. Tsunoda's - 2nd pair of this brand and now I am going to try a few more. These are the 6" Tsunoda PW-302-DG. These are as sharp as heck.

    I have the m18 surge, for when I absolutely need an impact driver. I’ve had enough clients tell me they hate the noise, and my odds of stripping or breaking a fastener goes up ten fold with an impact. Don’t get me wrong, when the sun starts going down, I don’t give two shits if someone doesn’t like the noise. Otherwise, I see people using an impact, mostly just because it’s easy. I have hearing a lot of hearing loss in my right ear. It permanent. Use a drill or cordless screwdriver, until you can’t. It’s better for everything. Also, I am giving my kids the Makita impulse driver for Christmas this year, because I really value their hearing. The m18 surge isn’t good enough. Advice, use hearing protection, always. I have permanent hearing loss in my right ear.

    I have the M12 fuel and it rocks. I keep a set of impact drill bits for the same reason you stated. It stays in my Veto bag because I’m not usually doing hardcore drilling out of the bag but I commonly need a pilot hole or a hole in some thin metal. Works perfectly fine for that.

    For the sake of arguing, I would keep a M12 hammer drill with an extension bit holder. With that screw driver set, all you really need then are some drill bits including some masonry bits. 5"Kniplex Cobra pliers to replace those two pliers. Small magnetic work lamp or headlamp, and box cutter. For most jobs around the house, I just grab a 13-in-one screwdriver and the Kniplex. That should take care of most non-electrical or plumbing repair jobs. But by far, the 13-in-one is the most valuable tool. Too bad you cant strike on the Wera.

Wish they made the screwdriver version in an 8V and half the weight - an EDC line of tools.

    • @gr8phil
      @gr8phil ปีที่แล้ว

      It may lack the finesse of a clutched drill for running screws into wood, but set it at 1 and ease the trigger and it does the job with out stripping the heads. The m12 line is great for the DIY,er. The sawzall and the oscillating tool are very effective.
