Hierarchy is not inherently evil, not even problematic. In Heaven especially, hierarchy is fit and Right.

Nothing wrong with fear if it is fear of the Loving, Living God. Justice ⚖️ is part of True Love. Love wouldn't be Loving if it were to tolerate sin. Justice and Grace will be dispensed by Judge Jesus in Love.

The blatant sacramentarianism that exists within Welseyanism is in part why I departed from their tradition. John Wesley did hold to a higher view of the sacraments in contradistinction to today's post-modern Wesleyans. Instead, I found embrace, and comfort in the catholicity of the Confessionsl Orthodox Lutheran church.

Awesome! My prayer is for the one phrase that lept from our story and call, "Their lives were a protest to the way things were and a prophetic vision to the way things could be!" May this beautiful description of our faithful past begin to be a realty in Wesleyans today as we spread hope and holiness to broken lives in our fragmented society and to all peoples around the world.

Great job Mark, for speaking the truth in love. I especially liked the emphasis on deliberate sin verses not overcoming the challenges of everyday life particularly well. God Bless and thank you Wesleyan Church for your continual commitment to spreading hope and holiness in our fallen world.

I’d like to challenge the interviewer to seek additional people who have to meet the needs of transplant youth into the denomination. Please share techniques that can be used to engage a diverse group of youth to follow Christ. This is a great! Keep up the awesome work of the Kingdom! We need our young people. Thank you!

I feel like this entire video dodged the question to the point of knownothingness. Sure Christ wouldn't know what a Republican or a Democrat was because of where and when he lived. BUT that doesn't mean we cant line up the things HE prioritized against those organizations and see how it matches or doesn;t. Indeed we can do that with the modern evangelical church. When we do you knoe what we find? Christ had an ideology. It just isn't the one the evangelical church has.

Amen, Wayne, the vessel (structure) is important, needs care, but the filling for its usefulness in ministry needs prayer. This has been my own awareness of late: the unseen but powerful effect of intercessory prayer. We may see nothing immediate, but that is not our confidence. Our sincere praying from the heart moves the hand of the Lord. I believe He allows no authentic prayers to go by as a wasted effort. We will see this in eternity.
