Hi everyone, we are Ezequiel & Cynthia Gutierrez and this is our vlog.
We’ve been married for 3 years & live in Southern California. We love to travel & eat great food. We love spending time with our friends and families, playing board games, watching movies & just relaxing in front of the tv. We spend a lot of time at Disneyland & watching our Dodgers.

The One Where We Go to New York City - Part 1

Back in September, Cynthia and I took a trip to New York City. We did all the things.
In this first video we take in a Yankee game, became pros at riding the subway, visited the Friends apt, ate our first new york slice, took in our first Broadway show, walked around time square, ate like champs and visited the world trade center museum.

Food is Just Better on the North Shore

Were back on the North Shore, doing some snorkeling and some eating. This time around we tried out the famous Giavannis shrimp drunk and the other touristy Matsumotos Shave Ice.

Our First Dodgers Spring Training

Cynthia and I join my sister and brother in law for a quick weekend trip to Arizona to cross Dodgers Spring Training off our bucket lists. We enjoyed a few day day games in the ballpark, watched some Love is Blind and capped off the weekend with some Top Golf, a first for Frank and Marissa. Enjoy
Oahu Pillbox Hike and Dining at 'Ama 'Ama

Jamie and I ventured out of the resort for a challenging but rewarding pillbox hike. The specific trail is known as the Maili Pillbox. It is located about 6 miles from Aulani and awards hikers with. STUNNING views of the Lualualei Forest Reserve and the Ocean. We ended the night with an exceptional meal at Aulanis fine dining restaurant 'Ama 'Ama.

Tubing Down Kauai's Irrigation Canals

On our last full day on Kauai we did the thing we came to Kauai to do. Inner-tube down Kauai's famed Sugar Cane Irrigation Canal. It was the absolute high point of our trip. A wholly unique experience that I recommend to everyone. This is a must when anywhere near Kauai. Honestly, take a quick flight from maui or oahu just for this. Worth it!

Ok listen, we did the Mahauwahi Cave Trail hike and while the views along the way to the cave are amazing, the cave...not so much. And to be honest, this hike is VERY LONG. Don't believe all trails. About 7miles total, we thought half so we got tricked or didn't read the map correclty. We went to Disney for Halloween as well. It was great, although I did prefer Universal for Halloween even more 🎃

I would always get a guide, they give you a lot of great information and they took our kids to a place they could dive off the side of a mountain

Definitely bring mosquito spray! We did this and ran into one spot crossing a small creek that was saturated with mosquitoes. Without spray there was no way to venture further. The guys who rented us the kayak gave us this tip and boy did it pay off!
You know that shave ice place has a location in Hollywood.

Would you say it's easy to do an unguided tour as your first time doing this trip? Would it be easy to get lost?
If your not adventurist don’t go to Kauai1
Maybe go with a guided tour. We did it with a guided tour, and had a blast. Next time we go to Kauai, we’ll just rent a kayak, we are familiar with the path.
So if you can’t pass that steam because the water is high, do you get refunded?
I guess it depends if you paid for a tour. They have ways of getting there. But if you did it on your own like we did the rental shop will tell you if it’s safe to cross. People still do it anyways. A risk they take.
Did you need a reservation at Keoki's?
Depending on the night perhaps. It wasn’t that busy for us we were a walk up
