WEST USA ROADTRIP 2022 Impressions - Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah und Kalifornien
Still can't believe it but this easter 2022 we decided to make a 2-weeks trip through a few states of America. After a while the list of things to see on the way got longer and longer and in the end we drove over 5.000km in only 12 days with our dodge ram. We had a direct flight from Amsterdam to Las Vegas, where we started the road trip and crossed the borderlines of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada und California. It really was not like a calm vacation time but I think we saw as much of the USA that you can see in only 2 weeks. In the end it was really worth it.
Places and cities we visited:
Grand Canyon and Flagstaff, Saguaro Nationalpark and Tucson, White Sands Nationalpark, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Saint Antonio Hot Springs, Pertifried Forest Nationalpark and Holbrook, Canyon de Chelly, Monument Valley, Page, Horsehoe Bend, Lake Powell, Montezuma Castle, Bandelte National Monument, Valley of Fire State Park, Death Valley and of course Las Vegas.

In July 2020 we went on a short trip to Mallorca to have a little vacation feeling during corona. Such a nice thing to be at the ocean and on the beach in this curios times. Short time before Corona hit the world Jonas and I travelled to Florida, USA in February 2020. We are some of the lucky people whose flight and travelplans doesn't got cancelled because of the virus. so Jonas and I went to South Africa and Namibia for 3 weeks in march/april 2019. We visited cape town, cape of good hope, simons town, hermanus, tsisikamma nationalparc, stormsrivier, knysna, buffels bay, noetzie, addo, addo elephant parc, upington, solitaire, deadvlei and the fish river canyon. In oktober 2018 we visited peru for 3 weeks and drove around with a rental car from sixt. The places in the video are in Ica, the Nasca Lines, Arequipa, Puno (Titicaca), Vinicunca, Rainbow Mountains, Cusco, Machu Picchu and Lima. for us it was no problem - you have to wear a mask in public and a PCR test but all tourist spots were openend and it was at most of the spots really empty (we liked this a lot) you only have factor in more time at the airport :)
