CARES FOR PIGEONS, FERAL CATS & ALL GOD'S CREATURES BIG AND SMALL
Letting Him Live
Tiggs was recently given a diagnosis of skin cancer. The vet said there was little else that can be done. I was given the option to put him down but that will never happen. So the vet will contine working with ne on Tigg's daily meds, including ultimately prescribing a pain med I will need to give him when he starts going down. For now I believe He's still got a lot of living to do....diabeties and all🥰

Meezie Gets Some Lovin'
มุมมอง 1382 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Meezie was a feral in my yard for 7 years until I noticed her pad was filled with blood/plasma - I brought her to the vet and was told she has pillowfoot, an autoimmune condition that will be with her for life. Shes been in my home 2 years & adapting well.

The kitty didn’t seem super impressed by his presence
Pigeons do not need warmth. They do benefit from movement of air.
The house gets extremely cold and the birds ‘Look,’ cold. They’ve always been indoors and this is Florida (usually hot ).Dec thru February the temps dip down to 29. Some of the birds gets sick. I think you’re referring to birds that have always been outdoors when you say, ‘pigeons do not need warmth.’ I could be wrong.
@@HoneysuckleRose no heat needed.
Thank you so much for loving them, they are beautiful kitties ❤❤
@@katemate2696 Thank you

Way to go, Ian!
So nice of him !
Getting better- takes a little time 🕞💖
So cute
I cant believe how grown he is
Hi Libby Yes, he's 19 now but reminds me so much of Jon Jon, it's scary. He's a Blessing. I just Subscribed to our channel. Love you
Good that he’s helping his granny out but he’s basically rubbing dirt into the paint, scratching the 💩out of it. Hearts in the right place though
Nah it came out pretty shiny I appreciate the concerns though
@@ianesteves8006 It really did. Nice job!
❤❤❤❤
cockle doodle doooo!! lollll hehe
LOL
🤗Such a cute little Possum ! ❤
Please do a solid and look into your heart to take care of this baby. It doesnt have rabies, it cant have rabies, it also doesnt bite unless someone hurts them. These poor things are misunderstood and gets abused, tortured for fun or run over by cars. Theyre actually super calm and they clean up your yard of ticks and unwanted pests, theyre also super clean as they groom thenselves more than cats.
I know. They're sweet little creatures. They are relatively safe on my property and I always have leftovers from dinner so food is available. Its all good👍
They are there to help rake the leaves lol
LOL, it’s true and they make a big mess
Yes, I agree, animal's lives matter. Tiggs came to you because you care and you needed him too. Animals know good people and they gravitate toward them. Thanks for introducing me to Tiggs.
❤️🐾
Possums are wonderful! My Parents have a Family of them who have been living there for generations of them, the cats would eat side by side with them. They are a good animal to have around since they cant get rabies and eat lots of nasty ticks and things like that.
Not blind, definitely not deaf and have a great sense of smell. It knew you were there.
Not blind... definitely not deaf either. Somewhat poor eyesight during daylight hours, but decent at night. And generally good hearing in possums. And guaranteed it could smell that both you and the cat were there. It just didn't care.
Youre absolutely right. They follow their noses.
Sorry to hear about the struggles. Litter box issues can be so hard. It could be emotional, medical, behavioural....maybe they just don't like the litter or the smell of the box or the location. It can be a lot of testing to figure it out. Is it possible she's peeing somewhere you haven't found yet? Like a closet. Or maybe you could give her more liquid through wet food. I've never used it myself, but there's also certain kinds of litter apparently designed to attract cats to it. I hope you're able to figure it out!
Maybe she just has an unusually large/flexible bladder
I was at the vet earlier and talked about the issue yet again and he said he wasn't concerned about anything being wrong and for me not worry about it. Ugh, I'm OCD when my mind gets stuck on something, LOL. I need to learn to chill. Thank you for your feedback.
She's just keeping you on your toes! I wonder if it's some sort of feral behavior, but reversed. Maybe she feels secure, but outside she'd have to scent a lot? Maybe some other/new cat scents might make her pee more often so long as it was mild enough to not stress her.
😻Thank you
@@HoneysuckleRose I hope something works to get her to pee when she's stubborn, but sometimes I really do think they do things to make us nuts to just check we still care... or that their power over us is still great.
@@blackbearcj5819 That's probably true. I'm waiting for that day when I finally won't care about this but it's not happening fast enough. Thanks for your comment. It gave me hope.💫
It’s pretty thank you for sharing
Thank you! 😊
I can see it well enough to appreciate its intricacy & beauty. Thanks for posting.🕸🕸
