If I was adopted I would want to know so whoever is saying that you should be happy with what you have and to let it go is ridiculous. Especially since you would benefit greatly from a medical standpoint for health concerns that run in the family. So, how are you related to your adoptive family uncle. That's confusing, is he your dad or how does that work
Crazy and so cool to hear you found your family. You are an amazing woman ❤
Sis your adopted mother knows exactly who your mother is and so does your uncle….. trifling ass family members with their hidden secrets and cover ups of incest and rape. I can’t think of anything else. Your mom and dad think they’re going to their grave with their secrets. Honey all that’s in darkness must come to light‼️ YOUR MOM IN PROBABLY IN THE SAME FRIGGIN compound as the rest of the family. I just keep thinking it was a family member that violated a child and Uncle knows and Mom knows bc she went to rescue that baby in the van!!!! She knows YOUR DAD KNOWS who BOTH YOUR PARENTS ARE….. I feel it in my gut. The man was an adult. The girl child, a neglected child that was violated by predator.
Oh my Lord this story is going to be so moving…. I’m with you baby girl…
Praying for you ❤ thank you for sharing your story
Your bio parents gave you good looks, your adopted parents gave you a family, so you had the best. Remember whatever caused your mum to give you up and leave you in a van was traumatising for her and you would have grown up iin a toxic environment if she kept you. Results of your later life might have been completly different. Now you are creative, well spoken, educated. Your angel protected you so to speak.❤❤❤
Don’t make me cry 😭 God covered me. I think about how life would have been. Thank you for being so kind.
It's very hard. Your brother can't really talk to you about his growing up with family without causing you pain. He can't understand being raised as an adopted child who was abandoned only a few hours old. I believe due to your story that your mother has always known who had you because you were adopted by the family of the woman who found you and your uncle is related by blood. She knew who had a new baby in their family. She didn't look because she didn't need to. I don't know if that will hurt less or more.. but you are correct that your birth mother needs to be more open about what she knew after she left you in that van. I'm sorry for your brother too, he was robbed of his sister and it is very fresh for him, you have known for years what happened to you and it took until you were 30 to look. You are still young both of you.. give it time. The lord works in mysterious ways.
Thank you for these encouraging words. I believe she knew all along who I was with. I pray that my brother and I have a relationship.
@@ToraisaJ I am from a blended family, My Dad had a daughter from his first marriage, a Son from his second marriage. My mother a son & daughter from her first and together they had myself and my brother. siblings, half siblings and step siblings - all of us. some of us are 22 years apart. It's hard to bond with a sibling with such an age gap. I have always known about them but they didn't know about me.. I didn't meet my fathers kids until after their mothers had passed. They were told my father was dead until their mothers were ill and they told them he was still alive. Their mothers didn't want him involved and my mother was jealous, so he didn't push it. Dad was born in 1919 youngest of 9, His oldest Sister (my Aunt) was born in 1897 so things were different too.. Child support was paid in a lump sum for the life of the child in order for Dad to immigrate to another country and kids were not allowed to leave England. We all have love for each other even though we are separated by generations and miles. Knowing who you are and where you come from is a primal need that we all have a right to. It can also come with hard emotions to deal with. Jealousy and Betrayal being the hardest. You were raised by an amazing family - things may not have been so easy for your brother... it sounds like his mother spent more time working than raising? He has also been an only child, my son is an only child for me but not for his father.. there were times he found it hard to 'share' parents, toys, personal space. Now in his 40's he appreciates having them in his life. "There but for the grace of God go I" (1 Corinthians 15:8-10) You are an intelligent amazing beautiful woman and a loving mother and wife. You, because of or despite of, your history, have become a wonderful, Loving Human Being. It was such a pleasure for me to know after all these years what happened to that baby left in the van. The baby that touched the hearts of many around the world who prayed for you! May God continue to Bless you and protect you for the rest of your life. 🙏
@@ToraisaJ How long did she stay with your bio Dad hun? Did they stay married?? Did she have other children after you? You are a wonderful girl😗💖xx

The interaction between you and your brother is beautiful ❤. I’m happy I came across your story. You give me hope in finding my uncle’s daughter. My uncle abandoned his children and my family is only close to his son; He had a daughter that I tried finding for my grandmother before she passed but unfortunately with lack of information and because my uncle won’t give us any information it’s hard to find her with just a picture. Apparently, her mother tried to take my uncle on the Montel William’s show, my uncle refused and then they ended up moving to California. Again, thanks for sharing your story.
I hope you’re able to find your cousin! My uncle also abandoned his daughter and had no relationship with her, but the rest of our family all did. Our birthdays were a couple days apart and she would travel from Indiana to Wisconsin to have a joint birthday party with me every year. We always accepted her but he denied she was his kid. I only met him like 2-3 times throughout my life. Turns out my boyfriend’s dad worked with him and everyone at work called him Satan because he was such an asshole. He ended up dying on a barstool at the bar outside their workplace. The best part is that his daughter that he never claimed or supported ended up getting his house and all his property.

Good luck on your continued search. As my adoptive parents had passed I did a DNA test some years ago to find out my ethnicity- always said I was Heintz 57. Found some close matches but they never got back to me. During the pandemic I was contacted by my now known niece. I did my ancestry DNA after finding my biological father. My birth giver did not directly raise me, my grandparents (her parents) did mostly. Although I had many addresses because of her, I really only had one home, and that was my grandparents. My birth giver never mentioned a father to me until I was around 11 years old, she took me to this icky little upstairs studio apartment and introduced me to this one guy by saying "This is so & so, we went to school together." *me: "Okay?" "Today is his birthday." *me: "okay?" "This is your daddy." *me "okay, can I go back down to the car?" Before this encounter, I had never had (or at least don't have any memories before this moment) questions about a father. They sure started after this. I felt virtually no connection to this man, and I didn't see him again for about 9 years, which was after my first child was born and he had seen me walking around my hometown with her in her stroller. He pulled over and asked if she was his grandbaby, and I said "I guess" but considering he had never "fathered me" or made any further contact with me after my birth giver introduced us, he would have only been considered her "grandfather" by blood, not relation. Fast forward about 7-8 more years, and I've met my second husband, and moved out of state, and he is aware of my curiosity to know my biological dad. He offers to pay for a DNA test and my grandparents agree to provide their DNA to act as their daughter's DNA. Somehow, my birth giver finds out about this plan and chews me out, tells me that I know the person she claims is my father and there was no reason to do a DNA or w/e. The idea get scrapped for another 6 years. I finally have enough and I contact the man, because DNA tests have came a ways, and both parents are no longer needed to determine DNA, so I don't need my birth giver anymore. On my birthday (my 32nd in 2015) my DNA results came back and he was in fact NOT my father. So now, the birth giver had to provide a new name, a name that she had claimed 6 years earlier didn't exist (other than her admitting, "well there was one other guy, but it was only 1 time with them, and I wouldn't recognize him if I saw him, and I don't know his name"), but suddenly it was easy for her to give me a name after the DNA results for the original person didn't match. I contacted a man I had never heard of, who had also never been told about me in any significant way, and told him I thought he could be my father. He agreed to take a paternity test, and said that he wanted to be involved in my life going forward if he was my dad. Those results came back that he was in fact YES!! My Father!!! We were both overjoyed. It was awesome finally having a dad after 32 years. And finding him just barely 5 months before my husband was killed by a drunk driver was all God's planning. My daddy is now passed as well, he passed April 2, 2023 from COVID, but the 7 1/2 years I had with him mean more than the 32 years without him. After confirming his paternity to me, I got my Ancestry DNA and that provided me with MANY connections, most of which are on his side, very few of my Ancestry connections are through my maternal side. I am glad I found him before I did it, as I think it would have caused things to be much more complicated without the knowledge.
@@wansleyleah What a story!! I am sorry that your birth giver treated you that way. My deepest condolences for the loss of your husband and father ❤️ I am glad you were able to spend time with him before his passing. Praying God continues to cover you. Hugs 🤗
@ToraisaJ God has been the reason I have been able to survive everything I have endured. Your story was very fascinating and I did feel quite a connection to it as the emotions are completely relatable. May God's grace and mercy cover you and may He give you all the healing your heart, mind, and body require! ❤️

I have 2 new (distant) cousins. One is a 4th cousin. She messaged a few of us. She had never heard of our surname until her dad took the test. Turns out that one of my great grandpa’s younger brothers was his father (the mother was married at the time and my great granduncle was a milk man). Yes, we have accepted them into the family. The other one is on my mom’s side and a 2nd cousin. Her grandmother and my grandpa are siblings. Her father was my grandaunt’s son. I messaged her because I didn’t recognize her name. Also welcomed into the family. Hopefully your biological family is also accepting! Looking forward to seeing any updates!

I must have missed something and that is how is adopted family Uncle related to you? However that part of the story turns out It had to be Gods hand that put you close with some part of your biological family. Much love and Peace to you and your family.
