I just replaced this part was super easy. But still getting the Service Trailer Brake System message. And won’t let me use the trailer brakes. Anyone know what else it could be? I took the trailer plug out at the back under tailgate. No corrosion wires looked good. (2016 GMC Sierra) never used the trailer brakes either. Any help much appreciated!

Hello thanks for this video I have leak for few years and already changed seal bushing and shaft but the leak is between iron part of the seal and mean part number 5116242. So now I have to change the mean part number 5116242 and would like to know how to take it of because I've tried but never did, when I unscrew the mean bolt under the mean part doesn't move so do I have to move it strongly or do anything else regarding the lever ? Regards

Great Plains makes a really good drill. Yea, they’re expensive but, they’re built to last & take the beating. I used a 706 no-till on a lot of acres, that’s 7ft seeding width. As long as it doesn’t brake, I don’t mind the extra time.

Tried to drive the seals out like you described. Broke the shaft guide in half. Had to take the unit off and had a hard time getting the seal out. A terrible design.

In the future if theres any little pieces of broken glass left in the old window seal and you put the new glue and glass over that most likely your new glass will brake .Im hoping this helps and that wasn't little specs of glass i could see on the old seal .

I just started to experience the same exact issue with my 2015 2500 HD. Very intermittent, can go days without the irritating light and buzzer coming on. Then it will pester you until you turn the truck off at any time. I've also heard the plug-in connector on the rear bumper can cause this to happen, but apparently the main culprit is the in-dash switch. THANKS for posting this video!!
