Yes we salt water bream fish here in oz and the FG knott is popular bream don’t weigh more than 3 pounds they use 4 to 6 lb braid and 6 lb Fluro carbon mono

@@cliv3-88 don’t know I don’t use this knott as I’m entering tournaments soon we use the uni knott line to braid becuase it quick and easy the FG knott is a pain to tie out of a kayak also a pain if it’s windy and fishing tournaments
@@cliv3-88 just use a uni knott cross the mono with braid about a foot form a look with braid and mono pull braid and mono together through the loop 3x wet and slowly tighten cut tag end leave about 10 mm each tag end carefully use a lighter to durn tag end be carefull not to burn through the line add a drop of super glue and your winning

Just loop left and right 13 times and then tie granny knots until it doesn't slip when you pull the leader, then tie a few more, cut off the top of the mono, and tie a few more. Granted I've tied 1 one of these in my whole life but it seems to have worked. Doesn't look as pretty though
Definitely the best line-to-leader knot there is, but I can't bring myself to use it because it's just so much slower to tie than the Alberto
