In your other vid, I said it just looked like blur and bloom was added but, in this video, I can clearly see it adding a better sense of depth to the world and objects and being applied in the correct spots. Looks good actually. There still is a bit of a sense of bloom that seems to be being added which gives me the impression of a less realistic, more "artistic", look. Is that just me? Or is there literally bloom being added?

Looks more just like bloom and blur is added. I'm waiting for the day Nvidia (or someone else) comes out with a way to "inject" raytracing / pathtracing into games especially for light sources and reflections. Imagine playing GTR2 where every light is a real light source and where there are no more fake, cartoony white areas around lights (like many GTR2 track-side lights have at nighttime). Just look at Quake 2 RTX for example.

One of the best sim racing games ever. I'm still playing it too.

What OS are you using? It seems that playing GTR2 on my Windows 11 no longer works

Can you provide the track download link, or forum that I can find? I have a few different versions of the Donington, but this one has some curbs on certain curves that make it look more current than the versions I own.

You know, I've played all the sims of late, but I always gravitate back to either AC or GTR2, but GTR2 always has the edge with how it feels now. Awesome race too 🙂

thanks Shovas, good information, You say its on true vanilla Steam GTR2, My GTR2 is a copy of the steam one and moved with to another drive with the anniversary patch and crew chief, would this work on that, And a bit off topic i really like your Hud, and i have tried a few times to get it to run on my Gtr2 location and it never fully works and i had wonderd if this is becouse i have moved my gtr2. anyway thanks for your intresting video.

Hey Sho, I’m new to GTR2. I’ve done all the tutorial stuff, installed CrewChief, and ran a few weekends. Where should I go from here? Any mod pack recommendations or should I continue unmodded?
