Auto Detailing Mats

Cleaning car mats using tide. I use about one tablespoon of Tide in a 32oz bottle. It leaves a fresh smell, works great on autos that have smoked in. This was just a quick way and may not be my only way, different situations. When doing mobile I use a bottle of water for a rinse to remove soap residue. Many ways to clean mats and many products, use what works for you. Please subscribe, give thu...

Any updates on your solar system
Thanks for the video. Cool battery box. Where did you purchase it?
Licitti Battery box, they now make different sizes. Happy with mine
33% Muriatic acid and water (important: add the acid to the water. Not the other way around) then pressure blast with baking soda. You're welcome :-)
That looks a lot like the inverter i got. I have the hybrid 2400w version, when i have it in the mode to pull from my batteries and solar first before pulling from the grid I have a couple deep freezers that you can here the compressor making a little bit of a click or pulsating noise that it doesn't normally make and the light on the freezer flickers ever so slightly as well. Turning it back to grid first with pv supplying extra power to the loads makes it stop. Have you noticed anything with yours? I'm suspecting maybe not as clean of a sine wave i just don't know though.
No I haven’t, of course I’m not running much right now. Since the video I have four Power-queen 100hr 24v batteries. The second inverter is on its way, it will just be a backup if any issues. Wanting to get four more batteries. Driving down this week and getting four 325w solar panels, really want six, that day will come.
Yeah I had mine on 2 ampertime 200ah batteries and I have it just in case of power outage so my freezers won't defrost, I was going to run it in the sbu mode so it would first run off solar panels then batteries and grid as last resort. I have 4 200 watt panels until I get some more but even now it's more than enough to run the loads during the day and recharge batteries after being on all night. I just don't want to risk my freezers being damaged so I switched back to sub setting to have the panels feed power to loads along with the grid to offset some energy usage. Problem is I put a clamp meter on the line feeding my inverter and it's showing 2.3-2.4 amps with no loads at all. Does this inverter have an idle draw of almost 300 watts!?
What did the power company make you do? I know u can change the setting in machine but didn't know if that satisfied them.
I had to stop back feeding the grid. I can feed the grid if it’s signed off by a certified electrician, need pv disconnects and prove when grid power lost my setup doesn’t back feed.
That is why I spent many hours polishing those pieces. The sandcast surface cleans terribly. Polishing is easy but lots of work. The payback comes when cleaning. Its an obsessive trait.
I have my late dad's 59 F100 styleside long bed truck he bought new in Southern California. It has the 223 six engine. The only option he bought with it was the dealer installed heater. He bought an aftermarket outside clamp on passenger car trailer towing mirror for the driver side. Later in 1970, he bought a Ford telescopic arm mirror from a dealer. The dealer parts department was clearing out older vehicle parts, and only had 1 mirror left for the 57-60 trucks. He got it quite cheap, but wished he had another one for the driver side. One day when I restore the truck, I'll match the mirror assembly.
that,s cool i been looking at sungold for a back up inverter
Check out this 59 Ford 4x4. This was found in the woods. Very Cool th-cam.com/video/UWfOkxl0ntk/w-d-xo.html
I bought one of these for my wife for Christmas in 2017. I use it more than she does. She still loves the Keurig I bought her previously.
Man.... u went all out. Thats one badass truck. Good job .
Appears you left the acid on to long . 20-30 seconds only then rinse and repeat if needed.
Hello, beautiful truck. I have one I'm about to start restoring. What was the estimate cost if I may ask to do it your way. 👍
Probably around $30k, just sold it, if you’re going custom, I would find 03 and up CV, running and driving good car, use it, or get a jag front, if I had to do again, mustang 2 style front, Ford 3.8 v6 auto they get great mileage, that was my last vehicle, I got seriously injured and just can’t do anything, the cv fronts are nice and cheap you will be limited on wheels, if you’re on FB Those Guys and Gals page have great people with lots of info,
@@tomspencer8717 Thank you so much for the info. I'll look in the CV setup. I watch a guy do it. But he has to cut the bed. Any way I can avoid that?
@@tomspencer8717 I am sorry. I am hurt my self. Been thinking a lot about things doing these times. Once I am healed I want to rely start with the project. Thanks again.
Very nice build! ..... what motor mounts did you use?.. thanks!
Ford v6 believe Cougar, had to make plates, they fit in the CV factory holes.
@@tomspencer8717 I did similar using Tempo mounts.. thanks for the reply!
How do I get a hold of them for tech support.i just was scammed on ebay for 200 $ and it won't turn on . This is my second one I bought my other one still runs after seven years but I got cheated 🤣 n ebay. I looove this CoffeePot I wanted one for my kitchen. The panel lights wont come on at all...any ideas?
Who was the seller? I was thinking of buying one but I’m scared lol
@@dbag222 ephesushomegoods but that doesn't tell you who they really are and they refused to let me return the item and I lost 190 dollars there's no warranty on this product because the company closed down so no way to get it repaired or replaced. I wouldn't risk it.
Carb cleaner, scotch bright pad, small stainless wire brush
Thank you for the review! Between ONR, Power Clean, and Opti-Seal I've been able to drastically save time, money, and space. In detailing there is so much hype over the "latest and greatest", but Optimum is steady in quality, and efficiency.
Tom... Do you use Opti-Clean? I've heard Ivan use Opti-Clean as an ONR pre-rinse... Just wondered... Thanks sir.
grogfisher I have and still use it, not that much though, like using the instant detailer most of all, thank you
Semi truck parts houses carry an acid that is no joke. I used to sell it to companies that wash their semi trailers with the stuff. It’d really make the top and bottom rails look brand new. I think it was called aluma-bright
@@tallwill38 thanks I going to look into that
looks great....... I just picked up a 66 F100 short bed, flare side. I want to put it on a CVPI chassis but want to maintain the height and normal bed floor. Any suggestions would be great. Thnx
tim lewis my rear leafs have one removed so it came down a little, with the stock front coils it site just a little below stock,
Do you still have the 57 grill?
D & C Music , traded for a 59, I have a 59 grille I would sell
Tom Spencer I have a 57 big window that I am wanting to get a original v8 grill for. If you don’t have one would you know of anyone that does have one?
I wonder if A/C coil cleaner would work
Just about cried when I seen the end result has a '59 grill
Is it 59 or a 58? I had a 58 with a 60 hood. I do believe that the 57 is the sweetest looking of that era.
Me too. Still a nice truck
Is this portable? How long will the water be hot after unplugging?
Aluminum isn't Chrome goof ball.
Cream of tartar, vinger or hydrogen peroxide, make it into a thick past and rub over, come up nice shinny like new
Great! Thank you! :-)
Use Hydrulic Acid used for swimming pools, remember to do it in well ventilated area and gloves. You will be amazed with the colour
hydrochloric?
I used 'hydrochloric' (muriatic) acid to clean a Q-jet carburetor a while back. It came out super clean.
@@imaouima Hi! Carburetors are not made of aluminum but of ZnAl. It's a completely different material. The aluminum content in the alloy varies from 3.7% to 28% depending on the expected properties of ZnAl. Thanks
Orible coffee. Thats not a quality coffee with caimac cream on top as espresso. You dont know what means a good coffee. You drink tea, not coffee. You love the shit
Where you get the pump looks great idea and nice video men good vibes
All it is a yard sprayer from any place like , Lowes, BigR, Menards, TSC. Used the hose that came with it and added the air line hose. Been using thing for a few years now and works great.
Go to my TH-cam page and look at the Jeep Wrangler I did a Gloss Coat on.
Jeep looks great. Sounds like you are getting more than 2 years out of Gloss Coat. What part of the country are you in? I am in the North East and am wondering about winter impact on coating.
How is Gloss Coat holding up?
It’s still has the water action. It sits out all the time. They tell me how much easier it is to clean. I done two vehicles for them and both are holding very well. My van has been done for about four years now, it’s rinseless washed once a week. Thinking of doing a light polish on it and coat it again this year. Just tonight my wife turned the corner and didn’t notice it was her and thought, that van is glossy, then seen it was mine so I might wait till next year to coat it again. Very pleased with Optimum Gloss Coat, done over fifty in the last few years and all have been happy plus the ones I go and maintain are much easier to do.
I love to see the trailers behind it. Love the fact that you actually use it!
Teraflex lift, 2 1/5, ecm controller, lights everywhere with relay box, exhaust, bumpers with cut in flush lights, upgraded speakers, full paint correction with Optimum Gloss Coat, Glass Coating, Weather Tech mats, under seat safes, can’t remember everything done, turned out great and the owner loved what I did.
It was my stepson, too many projects and had to sell. That was the first time it was outside in over twenty years.
Good project
Soda Blaster: th-cam.com/video/08JsvVtf5zQ/w-d-xo.html
the eco-nazi's have ruined all cleanin products, thats why non of them work like the older stuff that actually did as advertised. They took all that good ozone depletin, cancer causin, mutant baby makin chemicals out of it.
Excellent review! I love Optimum's entire product line. The synergy between all their products is awesome.
Get a better atomizer on that spray bottle, they give us the worst ones on these products. You can see the stuff streaking where it runs. Eagle 1 aluminum etching mag cleaner is the stuff I remember on slotted mags. Spray it on, wipe it all over the mag with a scotchbrite pad and a glove and rinse about 2 minutes later, worked great but took any shine off and got the mag a somewhat milky white color. Polish afterwords. If you can get a rotary scotchbrite buff on a drill, that worked the best on smooth slotted mags. Abrasive enough to actually clean and polish the aluminum in one operation. Got some old ones to look like new.
If you use a hot pressure washer the results are much better with the Napa aluminum cleaner. You will see the blackish color get sprayed off.
Oven cleaner.
oven cleaner will darken aluminum if left on too long, I suggest you use it in 3-5 minute intervals and rinse.
will darken aluminum
you mentioned the boss system but you did not say what creams you used to achieve your results? there are four creams....
It looked like the valve covers got silver in color immediately and that is when you should have washed them off before they were able to get darker in color.
Any idea of how many watts this thing uses? Thanks for the review!
JKPinPDX checked it out today, with it warming up it pull 1265 watts at close to 12 amps, when it’s brewing 1281 watts at close to 12 amps
1400 watts
We're any of them parts cast aluminum I'm trying to clean up a liquud cooled intake plenum
Looks like all of this is cast, non eis billet. Also that is an intake plenum from a water cooled vehicle.
You can take a piece of masking tape or labels and mark your bottles up. I have yet to try optimum but I'm going to. I use some other good products you might want to try. 1 Mckee's 37 they have many products that have dilution ability from concentrate. Also Wolfgang's Uber rinseless wash makes 2 gallons of detail spray for $16 Mckee's makes 1 "rinsefree wash & wax" it makes 3 or 5 products it makes spray on wax, detail spray, waterless wash, rinseless wash, claybar lubricant it has carnauba wax 2. "Waterless wash n go concentrate", also make similar products but with polymer protection 3 is N-914 make the same types of products i guess the difference is if they have wax ,polymers or no protection. Also Ultima waterless wash is very economical dilutes at 1oz to 44 water. And always use distilled water.
Griots makes amazing products. BTW it's pronounced "Gree-oohs".
Nice review. Just use my first Optimum Polymer Technologies, the ONR. Is very good indeed there's many many use & the value for money is excellent. The guy is a genius, 99.9% of the companies out there are just doing the same, same better than others. Like I can recall in 1 video he was saying "less is more" you just know he's giving the customers. The Doc is the man!
Thought the recommended detail spray ratio for ONR was 8 oz. to a gallon or 2 oz. to 32 oz. bottle?
Anthony Catalano When ONR first came out they stated you could use 8oz of ONR to one gallon of water for detail spray, and they still say that. Some say 1oz ONR to 32oz water. Someone else states 4oz Opti-Seal to 32oz of ONR at the 256:1 as a detail spray. This is why I stopped making up mixes.
