Well done. Very nice to have guitar accompaniment. Thanks also for camera close up to learn by. 😊
Thank you - I usually film them this way so that anyone can see what I'm playing (on the melodeon at any rate).
Lovely!
Thank you dennis! 🙂
Well played
Nice work too bad you couldn't take a look at my accordion playing as well. But never mind I won't bother you anymore.
Wow !
Lovely!
Thank you very much Dennis. You were quick off the mark. I've only just finished recording (and learning!) this. 🙂
For a An Dro, that’s very pretty, normally they are not as tuneful as that! Really nicely played too. Do you know the name of the piece? 😊
Thank you for the nice comment. The only name I found for it was 'Wedding An Dro'. I picked it because it seemed to have a bit more to it than a lot of An Dro tunes. I did find an album track on TH-cam under that name too. As an English trad player I'm not very knowledgeable about French tunes.
Transports me to a Breton village in spring, with the breeze coming from the sea and a light sun coming through the seas. Thank you!
Lovely!
nicely done there Mr. Mcgrooger. Love the fingering there. BRAVO nice performance.
Another lovely one!
Thank you very much. ☺
Wow! 😮🎉
Beautiful! ❤
Thank you so much. 🙂

Thank you 🙂
Lovely! Thanks.
Thank you. 🙂
this is fire
Thank you - I think (not sure what 'fire' means in this context 🤔)
@@Mcgrooger i think that this is a fascinating tune and I enjoyed your performance!
@@nariseconnor7775 Thank you. Most kind. :-)
J'ai joué à ce jeu à de nombreuses reprises avec mon grand-père, à la fois sur un accordéon diatonique à boutons et depuis qu'il est parti, je joue sur mon Tyros-3 et plus tard sur le Genos2. J'adore ta musique, continue ton bon travail.
You'll see from my channel that I mostly play English tunes on a 2 row Hohner. Thank you for your recent comments though. :-)
Like #12 this was Brilliantly done. I have appreciated the Diatonic Accordion ever since I was old enough to hold and teach myself. I have subscribed and hope we can keep in touch. Please and thank you I enjoyed your music very much. Your Accordion sounds lovely. 2 stops and Mine has 5 I love all 5 sounds. Take care and have a good week. Patrick of Canada!🎼🎵🎶🎵🎼🎹🎹🪗🪗🪗

Fantastic performance, my friend! Sounds and looks amazing! Excellent sharing. Continued success. God bless.
Thank you for the lovely comment. 😊
@@Mcgrooger You're welcome.
Lovely! I just found an old Koch myself and hope to get her sounding and playing as lovely as yours.
Thank you for the nice comment. Good luck getting your melodeon fettled. Mine had already been restored when I bought it.
So much fun! I can't tell how the left hand is working those chord keys. This artiste is too quick!
Thank you for the comment. I pretty much only use a 2 finger LH method so it's not too complicated.
Rollicking! The guitar really adds to these tunes.
Thank you. Glad you like the guitar backing. 😊
Very nice.
Thank you. 😊
Lovely!
Thank you. 🙂
Lovely as always!!!
Most kind. Thank you. :-)
Ok, I give in, what chords are you using I have spotted C,G,Em,Bm,D possibly D7 plus couple I have missed. Love the song.
You'll find 'em in my reply to a previous comment below. Cheers.
Not heard these before - nice tunes.
Beautiful - love it! ❤
Thank you. 🙂
Hard to go wrong with a Playford tune. Have you tried Dover Pier ? It's another of Playford's which sounds really nice with a bit quicker tempo than the original.
Thank you Nola. I don't know Dover Pier - I'll check it out.

Never heard either of these versions before. Fantastic!
Music variant 12 of this song.
Feel like i am in a different world with this type of music. Love it
A fine tune well played. Another one for the 'To Do' list; thanks for posting.
Muy bueno si señor
Beautiful! Listening to it on repeat now.
Thank you for the lovely comment!
Beautiful. 👍👍❤❤
Magnificent!! Thanks! 🙂😎
Lovely - this has been one of my favourite tunes for several years - it's The Louis Waltz by Andy DeJarlis from Manitoba.
Thank you for the info Anahata - I've edited the title accordingly.
Inspiring thank you! Off to dust off the melodeon.
This is a wonderful song, and to me it sound really, really, great on an instrument like this. I wonder if that has to do with one of my favourite Christmas movies being the 1984 adaptation of A Christmas Carol starring George C. Scott ?
Cute transfer of the melody to the left hand.
Geil!
Ace, love the bounce you put into jigs
So cheerful! Just what I needed today. 😄
Lovely playing deserving of a much better (more responsive) instrument!
Hi Paul. Thank you for the compliment on my playing. I think it's the recording rather than the box. I was probably too near the mic and the tune isn't a 'keeper' for me so I wasn't tempted to re-record it.
@@McgroogerFair point! Mics are a player's worst enemy at times...
Excellent bellows pulse!
Thank you.
