Redman Wines 50 Years of Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical | Langton's Auction
In conjunction with Langton's, Redman Wines is offering 50 consecutive years of Redman Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an opportunity to taste a piece of Australian wine history, all wines being stored in the Redman Cellar.
This auction is a 50-year complete vertical of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon. This online auction is a rare opportunity to own a chapter of Australian winemaking, with one bottle of each vintage from 1971-2021 having been carefully stored at the family winery. The auction will run until 7pm August 18th, 2024.

Our Wine Club members always tell us why they love being a member of Redman and Geoff Allen speaks for many when he says it is a life long love (he joined as a uni student). He loves that the wines are delivered and he has cellared and enjoyed these Redmans over many years. It was great to catch up with Geoff in Melbourne in 2023 as part of the 50 Years of Redman Cabernet tasting.

Edna Redman was a force of nature, helping set up Redman wines, showcasing wines in the 60s and 70s and telling the stories of the family business whilst raising three boys. Our Redman Bernkastel block was originally planted in Coonawarra in 1971. The Redman family purchased the block in 1976. It was planted 50/50 shiraz and cabernet sauvignon - one of the mainstay vineyards for our production. Mal Redman gives you a virtual tour.
