I haven’t noticed any issues with it this season. Although I can’t say for sure if Vex Shields are still broken

@@quota4eva when I made this video it was kinda broken. It worked with Anti-barrier for champions and some shields but other shields (especially vex shields) didn’t work. Seems a lot more reliable this season and is my go to for Anti-barrier. But I can’t say I’ve tested it under all conditions. I’ve heard rumours that it was originally designed to have intrinsic unstoppable or overload (can’t remember which) but it ended up not being added. However somewhere in the code the game still thinks it has said intrinsic properties and so it doesn’t always play nice with Anti-barrier. Since you can’t have a weapon be intrinsically overload and also be unstoppable/barrier with a seasonal mod.

@@Toxic_Waste92 i’m more on about anti barrier in non gm modes like you know how anti barrier scout allows you to shoot through phalanx shields and the scorn shields? that seems to not work with symmetry

@@quota4eva I don’t think anti-barrier works on phalanx shields or Scorn Shields. They introduced it as a anti-champion mod first. We are honestly lucky it works against the things it does. Symmetry was bugged though. It didn’t work on the same targets that the rest of the anti-barrier weapons do. But like I mentioned I think that’s because it was supposed to be intrinsically unstoppable or overload. As for phalanx shields I don’t think anti-barrier works on them because if it did it would really handicap the Skyburner’s Oath. As for scorn I honestly can’t remember. I haven’t really been paying attention to what it has and hasn’t been working on recently. So I could be wrong lol

Yeah DPS is the make it or break it point of most runs. I know last season (Season of the Lost) the meta was fusion rifles. With Particle Deconstruction fusion rifle damage stacked up to 5x… the 5x stack applied to all players too which is why I was using Cartesian with Vorpal. I could get the 5 stacks before people who were using Sleeper could get off 3 shots. The other thing was of course weapons of light and well… but weapons of light got nerfed this season. Focusing lens and hunter stasis was also key. For this season though I’m not too sure what to recommend… I know a previous strat was to use swords but I haven’t had much success. Glaives might play a roll with the new void mechanics but I’m not too sure to what extent… I can talk to some of my clan mates and see if they have any suggestions that play well with this seasons changes but as of right now I’d suggest high and sustained DPS output from all players, stay away from rockets because the explosion may hit an eye, don’t worry about having a bubble… a well gives the same damage buff. What weapons were you guys running?

According to a few of my clan mates the sword strat still works well. The damage phase would be occur on Rivens foot rather then her mouth. Bubble is needed for that strat to keep you safe from the ads that spawn near you. A well is good too. One person should run a tractor cannon and the rest should be running swords… I’d say Lament and Falling Guillotine would be the best options.

​@@Toxic_Waste92 first of all ty for your time for that paragraph of a text. really appreciated! we tried a bunch of combos but ima tryna best to summary. one thing we noticed is that tractor cannon performs better than divinity.. 2 of us run hunter goldy with that helmet for 1 shot goldy paired with a well and a threaded needle with vorpal in the heavy slot. we also tried falling guillotine but someone mentioned its only worth trying with whirlwind blade (?) which some of use were lacking, so only 3 persons tried it which resulted in the kind of same damage. we are always missing a quarter of damage.. im really temped tryna pop a stasis silence thingy at her foot paired with ghorn with some explosive light rlaunchers which ive heard shall be good.. if whirlwind blade isnt important and lament performs same id also try that next time

@@1lyovu196 no problem! Whirlwind blade isn’t needed but it helps. Unfortunately I’m not great with character builds and such so I personally don’t have a perfect solution for you. My best advice is to keep trying and go with your gut. Try some of your ideas out, they may work better then swords. Also try switching up who’s running what weapons. I wish I had a perfect solution… I know that sometimes a run will take a few attempts well others take a few hours… just keep pushing!

@@Toxic_Waste92 after several tries before, we now finished her up first try after our build gathering. thank you sm! i went for tractor + well paired with a autoloading, one two punch shotgun while the rest used void swords and we absolutely demolished her :-) second run i didnt have well because i was on hunter but stasis worked the same for some reason XD

Thankfully Bungie acknowledged the issue in a recent post of theirs so there should be a fix coming

I know. It’s just that my friends and I kept getting loaded into the strike with players who had already completed it so we would load in a try and run it as usual but hit the door that wouldn’t open… figured it was worth sharing

Not sure, there is a possibility that my dad might buy one for the family for Christmas, (only took 2 years of convincing XD) and if that doesn't happen I'll attempt to buy one, I'll be sure to post an Chanel update within the next 2 weeks, and one on Christmas Day. This December will be a big moment for the Channel, with The Black Ops 3 series, Christmas and the 2 year channel anniversary all happening this month… you can expect a lot :)
