I am a pro photographer. These shots with the shallow DOF are wide lenses. I do not think a wide open lens alone accounts for this effect. I have a suspicion it is generated by recognition of foreground elements and blurring everything else. A lens with a 70 degree or more field of view is nearly parfocal.

does it have to be same version of primiere pro?

I’ve got a 14 pro max. I like some of the AI features, many the email ones and some of the summery etc. I could care less about the emoji ones and I need to experience the Siri changes before I decide. I am upgrading, already preordered, the reason being is, waiting a month or two for some AI features isn’t a big deal and the battery on my 14 pro max is like 70% efficiency. I could just get a new battery but I figure 2 year upgrade isn’t awful and when AI comes out I’ll get it, when more AI features come out later I should get them too.
