It was complex, powerful, and demonstrated determination. It was definitely good enough. What I meant to say is that, in this song, beyond just strong determination, I felt a range of emotions. There was hope, there were dreams, there was comfort, and there was light. YU has the capacity to express all these feelings. It doesn’t need to be purely lyrical; he can make it vibrant. I'm not an actor, but he is. He’s going to spread his wings even further. I may be struggling, but I am determined to succeed. That’s not the only emotion I felt from this song. The soft rock element made it even brighter. For example, imagine that your future self is encouraging you to reach your goals. Or picture angels spreading their wings as you take that determined step forward. As a friend or a mother, you might see someone struggling, even while you have your own insecurities, yet you still encourage them. One song can convey thousands of messages and a spectrum of emotions. You are the master of your own art; you can take it beyond what others can see. I was never looking for a Zhao Shuyi in this video, it’s not a fallen angel, either. There can be much brighter reflections of emotion. If it starts in a darker tone, it can end in a brighter tone. If Zhao Shuyi had Sam as his light, YU still has himself, his fans, his coworkers, his visions and a lot more things. If Sam or the director guided Zhao Shuyi to bring those emotions, it was still YU himself who made it happen. And no one can take that from him. It was YU. He can do it. Only an artist can evoke feelings that go beyond our imagination. I can feel this, and I wish to see it-a variety of emotions and more stories than what the song or YU has already conveyed. And my comment is a really, really bright one. Not a negative one. I'm saying that when you may think you have reached this much, you might have already reached beyond that. If you search for it, your heart will find it.

@@sing-chenchiang8916 I’d like to add a little more. This song conveys YU's emotions, but ultimately, it will inspire countless YU's around the world. YU will be a beacon of light. Furthermore, it wasn’t just Sam who guided Zhao Shuyi; without Yang Yuteng, there wouldn’t be a WBL either. That's not something you can say about many dramas, but it is certainly true for WBL. Without Sam or YU, WBL wouldn't be nearly half as captivating. Their strong friendship enables them to understand each other just by exchanging glances. In the drama, if your eyes can reflect your soul, and your partner can interpret them, the performance naturally becomes more engaging and truly entertaining. Looking at Sam, it's clear he has also grown significantly. He not only can take on any challenging character but also has become someone whom junior actors will look up to. Much of this growth stems from the light he has received through his friendship with YU. Their bond has illuminated each other's paths like no other. Now, both of them are shining their light on even more people-many more. That's definitely something.

@@moonstruck3454 I completely agree with you on your general assessment of YU (and of Sam) as artists. All your comments were from a place of affection and respect 😊. I was just commenting on this particular MV where determination is intentionally foregrounded to be the dominant emotion. I do agree with you that there’s a range of other emotions also present, which I think is mostly carried by YU’s lyrics and less so by his steely gaze in this particular piece. By his own account, YU wants to convey a “simple and strong” emotion through this number, which I think he’s accomplished successfully. As for his acting, I very much agree with you that YU has proven himself to be a true artist, evidenced by his performances in other TV shows and film since WBL. In terms of YU’s remarkable partnership with Sam, I think more than guidance it was anchored by a profound sense of mutual trust that gave them safety to release all latent emotions. It was a true beauty to witness. 🎉❤
