I swapped the lock cylinder, and my problem now is that when i first unlock the door, sometimes the first pull of the handle doesn't work, once it works there's no issue, but always an issue on first attempt after unlocking... Suggestions?

Mine certainly does not disassemble like that, it has a threaded collar on the feed tube that you need to unscrew twice, lower part of the feed type and upper as well. After doing that, the Barrell just remains where it is. So what gives? Tell me where I'm going wrong, please.

Could it be that your water valve solenoid is going bad? Not closing all the way and causing the water to drip and freeze in there, maybe?

Thanks! We have to remove the radiator and in order to do that the battery base has to come out and we were using that to hold the stick to hold it open. So, this will help a lot. Thank you.

Do I need goggles when I used the bolt cutter?

Works like a charm. Mine had a bunch of sticky junk on the bottom of the screen. I don't know if a glue in the original screen melted or someone spilled a sugary drink all over the screen at one point. The original touch screen stopped working when it was hot. At night for a few minutes it worked until the screen light itself heated it up. Now it works like new.

What gauge wire did you use? Multi-strand or solid? Low voltage thermostat wire, maybe?

Dear Sir, first of all, thank you so much for sharing this video. We have a Seat Alhambra 7N from 2016, we had the same issues with the touchscreen. We all know what the price is for a new system 😢 So in my case I order the new touch and some tools from Amazon for the dashboard. Today I fixed my media system plus . It's working like a new one and that for the price about 25 Euro. I say it again ,thank you so much Sir. Best regards from Germany

Great tuturial I kept having to come back to see how you did certain things like the clips, and thanks for the 'clip releases easily' comment as this was very helpful. I did have to open mine back up and loosen a few screws and make sure the screen had no pressure as when I first put it in there were pressure marks in all 4 corners where it was tight.

I get the same results without the expense and the added pollution of the bleach. I use 5 gal buckets filled with about a third of water and then using a drill with a paint mixer sized for a 5 gallon bucket and a couple of minutes a day within 3 to 4 days I have a bucket full of oatmeal. Throw an old bath towel on the ground, pour the oatmeal on it and in a few days, ready for the garbage, Carbon capture and security at it's best.
