Smallmouth bass and Walleye combo on the Mississippi!!
repp'n the left handed crank -my man!
Great video - Thanks! I've got a Curado BFS on the way and can't wait to try it out. Gonna go after panfish in a local pond. Those barbless single hook lures look to be pretty challenging to use
I know ,right Don't tell anyone 😂
you ever catch any big ones in this section?
W vid
How much did this lure weight 😂😂
Is this Racine Wisconsin?
hi old man. i love aldebaran bfs. I want to use 3-6gram lure with 4lb braid. playing at landbase saltwater. can you give the selection of the appropriate rod??
I want to ask. suitable or not to use mainline flurocarbon for aldebaran bfs? example 2lb or 4lb? I am asking because I am not interested in using braided line
yes I only use mono or fluorocarbon
@@sunnysfishingadventures3108 what rating line on your rod?
What rod is that
What rod is that
What rod are you using mate😊
What rod are you using?
why tf is all americans using fucking mono or flouro main line? you should use braid, always. you can use mono or flouro as leader.
I like mono cuz it's cheap and gives some stretch when fight fish with small hooks
In Europe is everything about braid.. 🫢 They kinda all fall for advertising.. I guess Have a good one!
@@edifuss We all use braid because you can cast longer with a thinner line and you get almost double strength from braid in terms of thickness, making the line lighter and way more malleable. It is way more expensive but it is worth it IMO. Using a Mono leader achieves the same stretch.
I know all of that. I'm european too and probabily the only one guy here still going with the monofile. Well.. I like it even more so.. I believe it is the thrill, ..it gets me. Petri Heil! (angler's greeting).
just recently found your channel.. and enjoyed your content... I'm currently planning to buy a BFS reel which is the Aldebaran model 16 but they recently introduced the model 22.. what's your thought on the model 22 and is there any difference with the Model 16?
I want to have all purpose casting reel, would be a good idea to have this Aldabra’s also for heavier lures up to 15 grams?
Happens brotha. Keep it up
i wish i even had a bait caster
Go pros can act stupid at the worst time
do baitcasting bfs reels have sizes? or is it one size
Nice catches i love your finesse approach 👍 just subscribed.
Haib Luss!
River or lake? Great video by the way.
Lake
Have you upgrade to the new Avail spool, you can cast even lighter
shiner not a creek chub
What blank are you using on the custom rod.
Is this at estabrook park? And where is that tank of steelhead located?
Or estabrook park?
yeah
Curious where this was??? I'm local is this downstream at kletsch
I bet your boys got mad at you catching all the fish. I love BFS fishing for trout:)
Loved the steelhead fishing this time. Awesome fish!
Good video fried , was just checking out your channel and i joined up
That water is moving. Looks like the fishing is good. Keep those vids coming!
Mate new sub here and had a slx bfs coming in the mail, just wondering what lbs test mono and brand your using and also what rod your matching it too?? TIA greeting from Australia 🇦🇺
The line I used was Stern monofilament 4lb but I tend to use 3lb line normally made by RUNCL, however it has been discontinued. The rod is a Kuying Teton TTC super ultralight 5'10''.
@@sunnysfishingadventures3108 Thanking you… keep doing good videos looking forward to new ones 🤙🏽
I need a order of the big ones, great video keep posting Sunny
This is two videos worth of fish! You were killing them out there. Beautiful browns too. What a great stretch of stream!
Yeah it's a neat creek that I found a year ago and wished I could have fished it sooner had I known it would be this good.
great vid, what the name of the baitcaiting rod ?
Major craft finetail area 6'10"
Comparing with Aldebaran 2022 what reel casts better 1-2 gramm lure and you like more?
Honestly they both cast really well for that weight. I like them both for different reasons. I like the look of the Daiwa and for the Aldebaran I like the smoothness of it and how light weight it is. If I had to choose one I would stick to the Aldebaran.
they're (reels) both are great, it just simple as which one you prefer coca cola or pepsi
Finding some hungry fish holed up in that little stream is so awesome. Love it!
Dang you gotta take me bro
Sure, then you'll have to take me out also.👍
@@sunnysfishingadventures3108 haha. I don't guarantee fish but I do guarantee we'll be fishing!!
@@OutdoorsWithKai 😂 all good. But if you're trout fishing with me I can pretty much guarantee that you will catch fish.
nice video
You're slaying them! Seriously, you caught a ton of trout. That brown your buddy caught was pretty great too at the end. Good vid!
That smith spinner is awesome. Nice Vid
One of my favorite but also pretty expensive when I loose it
@@sunnysfishingadventures3108 niakis spinner are good too but they are hard to find. Smith is a great company. Try their trout plug d compact. Great in trout. That one will hurt if you snug and loose it.
Good stuff bud!👌🏻 What location is that at?🤯🤩
Great video and great content. 👍🏼👍🏼
Maaaan, you have to wet your hand before touching a trout if you’re going to release it!!!!!
you can't see it but I quickly dip my hands below me into the water.
@@sunnysfishingadventures3108 not you, it’s your friend Who didn’t do it!!!
don't you backlash with 0.7g weight?
Very nice😉😉😉😉
damn no pics either id be sick, atleast u caught a lot of fish👍🏽
Thank you for the upload! I only recently found your channel, but have enjoyed your content so far. what would you recommend to a novice bfs angler as their first combo?
It all depends on budget, what range are you looking for? If budget is not an issue then what kind of fishing are you planning to do? Mostly trout or bass?
@@sunnysfishingadventures3108 I can at most afford a two-hundred and fifty dollar combo currently. I mostly fish for trout and panfish, but I often tangle with bass and skipjack.
@@muletown2003 I see then, I would recommend the curado bfs or the Shimano slx. Then check out baitfinessempire.com for a nice rod or aliexpress for a Kuying Teton rod.
@@sunnysfishingadventures3108 Thank you for the recommendation! I have been looking at the curado, but was not sure as to what I should pair it with.
@@muletown2003 Yeah the fine tail area trout rods are very nice, take a look at it.
