Very informative video with great advice, hopefully it will be viewed by those all-too many people who experience loneliness and isolation - valuable for non LGBT also. As a gay man with a partner of twenty years, I try to always remember how lucky I am and wish the same for others. Thank Daniel. Martin.

tbh I really appreiate the video itself, everyhing, the time went into it and etc also that this topic gets more exposure but In my experience this isnt that simple, also it depends a lot on where you live because in smaller countries you just ran out of people after sometime

Daniel, you made a great many phenomenally excellent points in this video -- and a video of less than 9 minutes! Your points about connection are spot on. There is a book called "Lost Connections: Uncovering the Real Causes of Depression - and the Unexpected Solutions," by Johann Hari, which came out about 6 years ago or so, It's one of the extremely rare books that I read more than once. The book does not address gay situations directly, but everything the author says overlaps every point you made. I'm in my mid-60s, and have always struggled with loneliness. One lesson I learned is that loneliness can have a positive side. This was expressed by another author, Thomas Merton (a catholic monk who was killed in 1968), who said that we should not be afraid of our loneliness bec it is also our individuality. Merton said that we should embrace our loneliness bec it signifies what makes each of us unique, and helps us understand and appreciate the thngs we can offer to others that others may not be able to offer. Loneliness does not have to mean self-isolation. Sorry for the long post, And I could go on. But I wanted you to know how much I admired your thoughts and presentation in this video.
