ST. VINCENT'S: How One School Left a Mark on Millions!
They say school prepares you for the rest of your life. Spending 8 hours every day for a decade in the same place with the same people without filters, ulterior motives and prejudice- here, there was no rich, no poor, there was no black, no white, there was equilibrium in being and in thought. There was freedom in our hearts and innocence in our minds. There was a light in each of us.
There was a massive ground that danced with life during lunch breaks. A stadium that erupted each time a boy ran to the finish line. There was a cane stick that thought discipline. There was a loud bell that reminded us of happiness. There was a time when the clocks stood still. There was St. Vincent’s. There was our childhood. There was our life.
It turns out mathematics, sciences and history did not actually matter in the grand scheme of things. What truly shaped us were value education, sports, and the countless moments spent communicating with classmates and teachers.
We enter as young kids and leave as fully grown men, each carrying within us a potential to change the world. And while only a few of us go on to change the world, the rest of us carry the lessons of St. Vincent’s in our hearts forever.

Great video! Brings back memories of my days as a Vincentian and yes Sallu Bhai was my classmate and what he said was so true. Brought tears to my eyes going back to those nostalgic days. Just got back from a visit to India after a decade of being away and regret that could not make it to the school. Hopefully will next time and meet Sallu bhai as well. Say hello to him for me.

Masterstroke! Releasing this video a couple of days before republic day, so everyone watches, feels nostalgic & there are more alumni from previous batches than actual students. Amazing video! Still feels like yesterday ❤❤
Dare, do and win!!!!
That grand piano scene transported me to my LKG sitting in the gulati hall where the kinder garden earlier used to be sitting in rows as the teacher used to play rhymes and we used to recite every morning
Loved this, great job man 🙏🏽

Last summer while visiting St.Anthony's shrine I asked my wife, daughters and MIL if they'd be interested in taking a tour of my school. They were happy to indulge and so we entered school from the Fathers' house gate. I showed them my journey through every classroom that I studied in, beginning right from the 1st standard. They saw a different kind of sparkle in my eyes while speaking about all the wonderful things we used to do everyday. I also informed them of the structural changes that I had witnessed since I last attended school a decade and a half ago. St.Vincent's will remain in my heart till I die along with all the beautiful memories that I shared with you and many other friends. I'm really blessed to have two amazing daughters, however if I ever wished for a son it would only be for one sole reason: That he may experience the legacy of this great institution! Thank you Diggi for granting us all this opportunity to reminisce about all those glorious years we spent learning, enjoying and understanding the true meaning of life. Vincenti Dabitur!❤ P.S. - Our teachers still hold the same charm they did back then, especially Miss. Mendonca and Miss. Mhaske. Andrew sir has aged like a fine wine.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful experience - it’s stories like these that make the videos worthwhile!
