To insert an image in a Twine creation, you'll need to find an image. I like using www.pixabay.com because all the images there are free to use with no attribution (though you should still give credit!). Pixabay also has vector images and illustrations as well, which is helpful. Check out www.unsplash.com as another site for high quality, CC0 images! Make sure when you find an appropriate image...

The average user is not going to go through all this bullshit! Better to just buy an inexpensive Windows laptop or tablet and stay away from Chromium. Google too often complicates things by trying to be different, which ends up confusing consumers.
Maybe - but the issue wasn't using a Chromebook. HBO had a bug in their website that lingered for some time. It's been fixed for a bit (though they still deliver content in Flash...). And for those people who want a cheap PC, now is the time to buy! Back to school sales are rocking right now!!!!
So, on my version of my chromebook, I don't have the "show drawer" or the Network conditions button. I do have a network button, but it doesn't seem to open anything like what you are showing. Any thoughts?
Similar issue. Click the three vertical dots. In dropdown menu, click more tools. That is where Network conditions is located, then you can uncheck the user agent box. Does that help? (thank you Dave, btw!)
No network conditions under more tools. That's where I found the developer tools, but then I am at the same spot as before...So, I don't know what the user agent box is. But thanks for trying!

The interface has changed a bit in Chrome with updates... Looks like HBO has fixed the problem - you probably don't need to go through this to watch HBO anyhow. What version of Chrome are you using?
I just got a chromebook two days ago and HBO Now will let me log in but I get an error when I try to play videos "ERROR - hlsNotSupported: Platform not supported. Could not playback requested HLS stream. Authorized feature failed to load [id=3727, reason=Error #3727]. ×"

+lePrik The newer versions of Chrome have a "Network conditions" tab (right next to "Console"). You'll have to uncheck "Select automatically" from the "User agent" option, and then choose your agent.

Hello Dave. Thanks for the video explaining the benefits of using Google slides in education. I saw that you used Screencastify with your chromebook. Which chromebook do you use to get a smooth embedded video and screencast without any lagging? I have a chromebook Acer c720 and I'm only able to record with a FPS 6 which is terrible. Thanks a lot!
I'm not sure - I've had several different Chromebooks. I suspect it was my Acer C720 (although I had the 4GB RAM version). That recording could have also been made with my Samsung 2 13" (also 4 GB). For what it's worth, I just picked up the new Dell 13" with an i3 and 8GB and it freaking screams. The backlit keyboard is an added bonus. In any event, I wonder if the secret to smoother recordings is more RAM?
+Dave Ghidiu Thanks for your fast feedback :) Yes I suspect that it's the hardware of 2GB RAM and 1.4 GHz processor which is not enough. Time to upgrade I suppose, since I love the fact that I can teach with chromebook, google slides, screencastify and automatically upload it to youtube. It's just a insanely fast process. I would love to see an example of a screencastify recording with your new Dell 13 :D Take care and have a nice weekend!

heatism You should be OK. I believe Chrome remembers the settings per site. It's no big deal - just hit CNTRL + SHIFT + I and change your settings if you have to.
Hey I did this yesterday and I can get to the point where I can press play, but it says in don't have flash player installed. Did HBO do something so that this method doesn't work anymore, or maybe I did something wrong.
Casey Cox If you're on a Chromebook, you shouldn't have that issue (unless maybe you are in a development channel?). Flash is part of Chrome. What device are you on?
Dave Ghidiu I'm using the Toshiba Chromebook 2. I think its pretty stock with a couple add-ins, (I disabled u-block for HBO I'm pretty sure). I'll check to see what version browser I have installed when I get home. Edit: I just checked this method with Chrome browser in Windows 7. I Emulated Internet explorer 10 and it DOES work. So something is really strange with my chromebook
Casey Cox Chrome on your Windows machine is different than Chrome on your Chromebook - you shouldn't have to make any adjustments to get HBO Now to work on your Windows 7 machine. As to why it doesn't work on your Chromebook - I have no idea. I'm not sure if the u-block is interfering or not. You could always try this method incognito and see what happens (most extensions don't operate in Incognito mode).
***** There is a setting in Chrome (Settings -> "Show advanced settings" -> Privacy -> Content Settings -> Plugins -> "Run all plugin content (recommended)" Perhaps this will help? It seems to deal with Flash. That's the only thing I can think of initially.
