Took it today 42 out 50. What I missed on was signage. Like the difference between Men AT WORK is somehow different from Heavy Machinery in Operation. So BOTH choices are technically "men at work" and you should slow and proceed with caution. THATS logical. Another strange question was an Image and asked what to do about the other car, but there was NO other car in the graphic. Just str8 up ret*rded test. I can drive better than 99% of these bozos but have to play the stupid "how many times can you fail" game before I get a motorcycle permit. And Get this. You somehow don't need a written exam to get a Driver's License, but you do need to test for a motorcycle permit and it's the same LAWS and RULES for both. Like most everything else in Thailand, it makes no Logical sense. I heard the Phillipines is the easiest license to get. You just pay a fee and they issue you one!

if not a resident or retired in Thailand but on Holidays for 2 months can you still get a Thai Licence as if you have international Licence from your country can you still get it.

I did 2 theory tests today at Bangkok DLT Area 3. They didn't show this video but they showed a very long, very boring video in Thai with English subtitles. Having then done the test, I can say it's more important to study the following Google Docs file, but bear in mind that the Google auto-translation from Thai to English is not great (e.g. The Thai words for "vehicle" and "car" are both translated to "car"), and the DLT's exam itself is also translated poorly from Thai to English. So the text of the questions and answers don't match, but it's still the best preparation I could find: docs.google.com/document/d/1AGwbXfP4U1FY9RWHdZrTOWuGJIS2voAVSwskCa0LFHE Note that the motorcycle theory test was actually just another car theory test with some different questions. Nothing about it was specific to motorcycles.

So wheather you have or you never have or you want to renew you have the same procedure paper. Weird.

Some stupid questions and obvious polite things that normal people used to do in their own countries. No words about really different from other countries situations like two cars turn right at T-intersection.

the car on my left side goes FIRST... so there is a rule 'obstacle on the left', okay.. but why the heck on the next slide (16:12) the GREEN car turned before the black one?

This is the old test. 20 more now. including vehicle checks. cleaning batteries. topping up with water. starting car procedure etc.

It cost around 650 baht for your thai driving licence be CAREFUL OF THE VISA SHOPS WHO ARE RIPPING TOURISTS OFF FOR NEARLY 4000 BAHT AND YOU JUST HAVE TO DO THIS SAME
