A day in a life of a little Starian!

In light of the Christmas spirit, our little Starians present to you a Carol service for your enjoyment. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

The Montessori Buckle Frame activity is part of the practical life curriculum, that encourages independent dressing by mimicking the sequence and skills needed to buckle and unbuckle a belt or shoe strap.

The Montessori Binomial Cube is part of the sensorial curriculum. The material is comprised of 8 wooden blocks which, when put together correctly, create a cube. The main focus of this activity is to provide a challenge for a child's ability to find patterns and relationships between the blocks.

Montessori Dressing frame is given to help and encourage the child to dress independently. The child is indirectly advancing in fine motor skills and hand and eye coordination through this exercise.

The Geometric Cabinet is part of the Montessori sensorial curriculum. These two dimensional shapes are used to isolate visual distinctions between forms allowing the child to observe visual details.
