Eventually you will see Bow Hut. Route finding for The Onion...

Cirque Peak hike via Helen Lake trail is located along the Icefields Parkway, which is the highway going northwest to Jasper, with parking near Bow Lake. If this hike is too much I would recommend hiking to Helen Lake as there are incredible views. Cirque hike is about 16 kms with 1111 meters of elevation gain and took me almost 6 hours to complete. Peyto Lake after the Snowfall ❄️ Banff National Park
I did that and it is still over heating
I am on first day of a 14 day trip when this happened and your video saved me
I'm glad you fixed your camera. 🙂
Nice share😊
She’s hot
😮❤
Wish the wind changed direction
But only to a certain point.
I usually hit the side of my camera with a plam and it jumps back, haha
Absolutely breathtaking 🤩 It would be such an honor and privilege to see a show like that in person! I live in Texas so I’m not holding my breath!
We were definitely lucky to witness this. 🙏
Wow, very beautiful, amazing beauty,i saw them too in NB thursday night, very impressive is your video, Rob in Newbrunswick
Thank you for your kind comment. 🙂
Thank you very much ,from Rob
Amazing nature 👏🏽👏🏽🤙🏽
The guy down there is dying rn
I just bought that $20 poncho for $100 on amazon.... I'm still happy.
Enjoy the poncho
Ok sweetheart thank you
Any tips how to do this on mark 3?
Same principle
@@MakingTracks Yeah but mark 3 doesn't have that metal bit on the courtain. I don't want to take the whole camera apart just to unstuck the curtain...
Are you sure? How else is that shutter going up and down. ( it must have something to pull it up and down)
This is great, thanks.
You're welcome
It worked, you save my life ❤ Thank you 🙏
Awesome! Glad to hear it worked!
When did you do the hike? We are heading there this coming weekend, wondering how to dress lol. I really want to make it to the summit!
September 15.
couldn't imagine driving several hours to go for a nice hike, and partway through some asshole is blasting their shit music for everyone to hear against their will. how cold was it at the top?
It was fairly chilly at the top. Hiking down warms back up pretty quick though.
Completely agree. Love your level of hating. HOF level
😅
People who blast music on trail... like why? Nobody wants to hear your shitty music lol
Pressure changes a liquid's boiling/freezing points. The bear spray is at least 210-250 PSI making the freezing point of the liquid inside around -30C.
thank you so much you've saved my life
You're Welcome. 😉
which brand is it?
Counter Assault.
Just coz bears hybernate in the winter doesnt mean wifes do! Always make sure ur bear spray works 😂
Awesome. Thanks.
You're welcome.
@@MakingTracks Good experiment, good knowledge. I have a can of Bear Spray handy.
Thank you!
Loved the video. Was the hike difficult?? For a beginner to intermediate level hiker. I’m thinking about doing this hike in 2 weeks when I’m out in Alberta. Any tips??
The hike isn't very difficult as the trail is well used. My #1 tip would be to start as early as you possibly can. We left the park and ride lot at around 600-630am ish. I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😉
Keep it up
Dont know where this is. Dont care. Wont go there. Dumb video
The bear will appear after the video
We always carry 2 cans 😉
@$45/can I can't afford to test fire it.
It's expired and I got it for free.
That’s 60 bucks down the drain homies 😢
It's expired and I got it for free.
My company used to buy those and many needed transmissions at 100,000 kms. Then fuel pumps. Switched Toyota Siennas, at 500,000 kms, still same tranny, fuel pump, engine, etc. Way better vehicles!
Sienna is a minivan... lots of Astros make it to 500,000kms+ I haven't heard many people having tranny issues, and gm vans/trucks of this era all have fuel pump issues. The Chevy Astro is a great little cargo van 😉
Are you using a phone to film? If not what camera setup do you have when on hikes
A phone mostly
New Canada says poo in the sand
how about sony a 7 ii ?
Same thing.
I'm guessing that hiking shoes are a no no and boots are a must with those rocks? I know you said don't buy new boots but I only own hiking shoes. What would you suggest? I'm going in early October and plan on doing Cirque Peak. Great video with some helpful tips!
You'll be fine with decent hiking shoes. Thank you for your comment, and enjoy the hike! 🙂
I thought it said "Across Columbia in a Chevy Astro Van" initially and was thinking: this won't end well (like hostage video bad) but luckily it is British Columbia which is lovely. I have driven South to North about 6 times through BC.. Loved it.... This guy has some epic great cliches, too, and Family Guy references.
😂
Wow Strang place my friend
You show nice little birds going about their day, then cut to the birds you had tortured and killed for a menu choice. Watch Earthlings to learn more about the holocaust you are responsible for.
Also good for self defense on the streets. Bears aren’t the only scary things walking around these days.
Yes! Sasquatch as well.
You guys get around!
6:11 Calfornia quails. They usually have large litters.
Kool! Thanks for letting me know.
Scanery is very beautiful places
That heavy-gauge black wire is your ground, which has to be the same size as the orange because it has to carry the same (high) amount of current. I have the exact same issue on my own 2005, just haven't fixed it yet.
Thank you for the info. 🙂
ears are too pointy and (proportionally) big to be a fisher, and the orange throat marking is a marten thing. if fishers have throat markings theyre white not orange
Very cool I have been to most the places you explored, while I think it doesnt get any better than eastern bc where I currently live its pretty amazing everywhere here. Also nice choice of vehicle. I collect astro vans, have 6 of them actually. The one I use for camping has a 5 inch lift, winch and lots of other stuff, you cant buy a vehicle much better at doing it all. If you want to explore some cool spots in eastern bc let me know, theres lots.
That's awesome! Thank you for sharing. I researched a lot of different van types before settling on the Astro. I reckon they are the best in regards to fuel mileage/reliability/size/"cost"/ect
I’m sorry sir but you’ve missed much of BC,, you definitely should’ve gone to the northern part of bc. Like western bc.. I’ve travelled AB/SK and it’s not really for myself personally, too flat and gets tiring driving straight 😒 but I’m not saying that I wouldn’t go back.
Yup, I covered northern BC last year in this video 👇 th-cam.com/video/gmniIRC5S8o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hoJIJzplupLwnqkF
Awesome! We were going to make the same trip, but we are currently broken down in Princeton B.C. (we daily vlog, so we were hoping to get epic content, but we came to a grinding halt!) 🙂👍
Best of luck! Hopefully you fix your ride soon! 🙂
Must not be in a Toyota then.

When did you make this video? I’m planning to go to Banff mid-September and I hope I don’t spend half my vacation at the gate… 😮
