Sparkos has 30% off right now for Black Friday
Shhhh
@ doubt many will buy these for Fosi amps. makes sense to try in DAC’s tho
@tallpaull9367 the choice of amp/dac is separate to the issue at hand: chip based opamps cut so many corners in SQ, discreet opamps to the rescue.
I also think, that B is the better Version because it sounds less harsh in the higher regions.
I like both :) maybe B feels tad brighter and bass little bit different
Ok. OK. Seems that we have hit the limit of youtube/capcut/phone rec. It realy was a treble phenomenon I was trying to capture. I'll email what it was.
One is fun but two is glue!😊
The Sparkos sound more musical. The JRC have more of a hard edge to the sound, but also sound flatter and less dynamic. It’s hard to put into words. Sparkos is good. That’ll do 😊
It's super obvious in person. I think it's the class a operation of the sparkos eliminating the zere crossing distortion.
In my experience rolling opamps, being honest with myself, I have only had very, very few times where I have made an improvement. The thing is, the opamps circuit needs to be tuned as a whole, putting in AD827's for example can cause oscillations for seemingly no reason. My personal thing is, if there are only uA702 or 5532s or something truly terrible, it isn't worth swapping unless you are going to monitor everything with an oscope. Changing a 5532 to a 47920 pretty much always is a clean problem free swap, and the 49720 is a cheap, but pretty nice IC. If you want something that everyone raved on about in 1 point in time, and it's actually the IC that has provided me the highest change of any I have ever tried, try the Burr Brown (now Texas Instruments) BB2132 (assuming you are using 2ch versions). You used to be able to get them through Jaycar, and so you could be 100% sure they were genuine, however I google| them just a day or 2 ago, unfortunately they only had the 4ch 2134 listed. Those things were really crazy, I've never had the midrange entirely collapse to dead centre like this before, like everything went to mono or something, but the top end was still free to move around. Never had anything else make such a massive difference.. My personal favourite, not that I've tried that many, maybe 20, is the LME49720HA, they are a metal can version (round package), more military grade, better than those plastic types, had to simply put the legs into DIP8 sockets. They got much warmer, but I got round headsinks for them that slid over the top. I believe the PSRR/CMRR is 140dB, sleep rate of >30V/ms and the data sheet even has a section about how low distortion they are that they have a special way to be measured to Audio Precision tools can even measure it. At 600 ohms (for headphone amp use) THD+N @ 1khz 0.00003% and IMD 0.00005%, super low settling time of 1.2ns at it's max of 100pF of capacitance before output isolation, with excellent phase margin and stability
So will you boost to match the target curve?
In actual gain, the lower area got louder. So, a retune would show less input in the lower freqs. The graph is old tune compared to new seal before retune.
Can you test what UAPP does?
Don't really have the need to. One disadvantage I see is the non downloading part of uapp.
Great fun! Just don't try to show the folks at Audio Science Review hahaha! Love the rig btw.
Ha ha. Does A.S.R not like sparkos or fosi ?
@@sqcaraudio they don't believe op amps make a difference, they should give free hearing aids with every subscription .🤣
What no comments? This is so unique ....I love it. I've been around car audio for awhile.....yeah.....lol.....and I've not seen anything quite like this. I'm subbed.
It's a bit like that in this channel.. I'm basically doing it for me and letting myself hear the best I can.. always looking for any and every improvement.
This is real 3D printing. You are in control.
How good of SQ are the Audison lrx & Vrx amplifiers? How much better clarity of sound does vrx have vs the Lrx amps?
Lrx is crisp. Vrx is more vivid in stage info.
Question can You tell me if this Audison Lrx 4.300 amp gives better sound quality than the Mosconi gladen pro amplifier? Im in process in deciding on pullin trigger for the Audison lrx amp if worth it?? Thankyou
Have not tried a Mosconi
"it's like a bath, of goodness"
Thx bro
Any time
What is the benefits of using these units over a 14v dc amplifiers?
They had great measured sinad and thd and practically fit my needs. I needed scalability, balanced inputs and decent power (240watts). Others may not have AC power system and maybe this would be a pain in the butt to do.
Do they make wider tips or larger pens?
Not that I'm aware of. You can move the pen slower and get larger bead, you can flatten after with a tool also. Lots of fun.
Why would you install a SQ sound setup to a noisy entry-level car?
Wat evs bro
Dang! I've used those 3D pens before and I was always terrible at then, love the dedication!
Keep hammering on.
I bought one of the pens because of you. It has been very helpful.
Nice
I love your creativity and unorthodox approach to audio.
Those little drivers are so dang cute.
How you see the mirrors is this legal
Yes I see the mirrors
First vid ive seen of yours, but WTF am I looking at? Spider halloween alien SQ car?
It's a proof of concept sound quality car. Aims are image and depth. The main principles are create a direct path for sound and reduce indirect sound.
@@sqcaraudio interesting... So the shaping is to minimise reflections and get as much sound to the ears uninterrupted?
Without being a horn, just absorption
What are you running for sub ser up?

@sqcaraudio right on man. Have any pics of the install? I just ran into your channel yesterday. Love what your doing.
There are hours of my install, but it keeps changing. Mini PC, soundcards just to start.

How are your two midrange crossed in conjunction with each other?
2.5 inch high mid plays 2k to 5k, Tweeter 5k up, 6 inch below 2k.
I'm interested in getting a 3d pen but Amazon only has toy looking units. Can you send a link to what you use? Thank you in advance
Yes some look like toys, just look for ABS compatibility, ie 220 degrees Celsius.. I'll give some links.
www.jaycar.com.au/protech-high-temp-pla-3d-pen-kit/p/TL4582
So smaller is better?
Right now, for this system, yes. I gave higher content to the 6 inch and liked it, so only a smaller high mid was needed. My mishap with the old 3inch became an opportunity for discovery. New bonuses are the snappier attack on this high mid, liking it. Also less for the tweeter to do, less distortion in it.
It was a fun day despite the weather.
Convex sure sounds nasally.
I'm not sure if these were ferofluid filled or not. May be ganky in the coil gap.
Nice weather!
Sounds like a CV joint clicking

No no.
That your time alignment is wrong? 😅
Haha, went for a wheel alignment and got a time alignment instead.
Capcut

You dont like bass in your face?
Yes. As long as it came from in front , not from the side. I know stupid title.
Interesting. I do wonder why they make 192kHz releases in the first place though. Even if a speaker can reproduce those frequencies, people can't hear them. Maybe it's so the bats can enjoy it.
Only listen to start 6 seconds. Especially seconds 4 to 5.

Is that you scissorhands,
You may also try feeding 2 amps from each side with one PSU and Y-cable. For example 1 PSU for L 6"+3” and another for R 6"+3".
Yes. Did this a few times.. needs alot more testing. I have to not starve the other amps when testing the 10amp. To do this I'll turn off the 12-inch amps. Also ordered some gallium 10amp supplies fr9m AIYIMA, as costly as one more amp.. gosh!
Yeah, there is no replacement for raw voltage (amplifier output voltage), thats why I use absolutely massive amps, I've got a Arc 2300SE @ 330wrms /ch probably my most exotic amp I just use for my tweeters, I was using a MRV-T757, bridged, per tweeter, MRV-1505s bridged for each 3" mid ('bout a thousand rms each) and another 2 1505s, each BTL for my woofers. You want amps with not only very, very high output voltage, but a distortion curve that lowers vs output power, like my 1505s, the more you turn it up, the sweeter it gets. There's no chefs kiss emoji
You're lucky to have magic button to switch to better thing :)
What are you powering all these with? Because I had this same idea and now I really want to do this.
AC inverter with fosi normal power units.
