Hello! The fridge tray itself is 36inches which supports most 75qt fridges, but the runner's interior space is generally best suited for 60qt and below.

The dimensions of the 4Runner are drawers: 33" L x 15.25" W x 7.5" H . These drawers extend BEYOND 100%, so you have full access to ALL of that space.

I'm just curious if whether y'all offer some kind of modular sleeping platform extension for the drawer side when paired w/ the dedicated kitchen, since when I'm camping solo I prefer to be inside my vehicle instead of on the roof.

@@bingbongclimbing Absolutely! We have done that. That's a popular configuration. We can offer both a sliding/convertible sleeper or a seat-delete sleeping platform.

Totally optional! The rack is an optional feature. You can even retrofit a rack at a later date if you decide that is something you want to add.

Just looking for the right customer! Looking for someone that can leave a JK with us for a few days. From what we can tell, there are enough differences in the JK vs JL that we would need to get one in the shop to evaluate what needs to change.

This is primarily to enable left/right side configurations as desired. Typically though we aren't seeing a lot of interest in that, so we have certainly considered making this a single piece across! There is a minimalist structure underneath this panel, so the strength wouldn't be much different either way.

Unfortunately we don't have the height in our FJ Cruiser system to accommodate this style of fridge under the system.

Glad to hear it! Those CD30's come with just raw wires do the enormous variety of connectors available. Typically what we do and what we advise customers to do is utilize a cigarette-lighter style plug with butt-crimp connectors to attach to the wires.

​@@airdowngearupthe only other thing I'd like to see is something that locks the hinges or the platforms together so it stays flat, instead of using a blanket or 2x4 underneath it. Is this something in the works? Maybe something similar to the 5th Gen

@@Ill06Taco We wouldn't go to quite the extreme that is the 4runner sleeper, but we have an idea in mind that would change the orientation of the hinges, which would make the sleeper sit perfectly flat without any supports under

That's exactly what we intended the system for! Our sleeping platform can be used completely independently of the 2nd row seats. We can do exactly what you described with this. We have even added top-access panels in the sleeper before to help access that storage area underneath when deployed.

@@airdowngearup is there a separate slider for when seats are out? So, the seats-out version is longer with access hatches, and seats-in is shorter with no hatches?

@@paulvarese1405 The seat-delete system does have a longer sleeper, simply because the seats themselves occupy some of the length available inside the vehicle. As for the hatches, you can also add an access hatch to the convertible (seats in) sleeper.

When extended, we fill every inch of length available with the 2nd row seats in place. The platform itself is 68inches long, which nicely supports basically any available sleeping mattress available. We have had great results with the Kammock Ursa Minor sleep system and the Exped megamat line of products.

They have it in vehicle too, the 3rd gen is the same system and it’s on another video installed. I was looking for this cause it’s hard to tell how the sleep extension works in the other video. This was my problem solved and that’ll be yours.🤙🏼

68" on the standard sliding sleeper shown here. We also have an optional 8" extension flap, but that requires seat bottom removal if you want to flip that extension open. Additionally, we have 73" of length on the 2nd row delete option which is not shown here, but is an existing design we have available for the 5th gen.

@@marktracey3933 Yes, for the less common seat delete system, the seat bottoms AND backs have to come out to get that 73" length. You can do just the 60% or the full width, but the backs and bottoms must come out to use our seat delete system. If a semi-permanent seat delete isn't desirable you can do the more common convertible sleeper with the optional extension flaps which yield a 76" total length. Those extension flaps only require removal of the seat bottoms for either the 60%, 40% or both sides. Also keep in mind that if you're sleeping solo, you can sleep at a slight angle and get plenty of available length.
