At the beginning of the video a mechanic is performing a corrosion inspection. I have done that also. He is using a bright flashlight and holding it at an angle to the aircraft skin. That will show any non-conformities as shadows. The aircraft skin should be relatively smooth. Corrosion will distort the skin in areas where it is present. I try to lead the younger workers to do things like I was taught in the beginning of my career. Use a bright flashlight. They use pocket pen lights and don't hold it at an angle. You can bring a horse to water, but you can't make him drink :> I'm going to retire in a year. If your a new mechanic, ask for and take advice from people that have been doing this for along time.

I thought that an anode was positive and cathode was negative... This video has it backwards in the beginning?
