They're totally real i believe. but i didn't see bent tree structures or tracks or fur anywhere! not that i was looking, my mind was on the fishies!

@@Blueskies_23 I used to believe and still kinda do, but if they were real, there would be proof by now. We have surveillance cameras, drones, all that. It's like the loch ness monster. I used to believe in that also but it would have been found due to radar and sonar like fish finders but better by now if it was.

Yep, it's a good little spot that doesn't get fished that often, so they hungry for anything that drops in the water OG!

To tell you the truth, i honestly can't remember the moment. But i loved Him from my youth and then backslid. but about 10 years ago the God of Heaven pursued me hard and i'm on the straight and narrow now Harrison! Jesus is so good. Great question, and about the idea...maybe in the future i will but i would have to write some things down to get it all in order. I wish you the very best harrison! maybe, but then again who knows what are scaly friends are really thinking! mostly they're probably hungry all the time and secondly are focused on mating and defending territory.

@@Blueskies_23 Yea. If they're hungry or defensive, they'll bite. Regardless of rain. I hear full moons play a part in it also.

@@Blueskies_23 Nah, there's big ones there also I'm sure. You just gotta cast in the right spot with the right bait or lure.

it didnt' have a smell surprisingly. maybe because it just died or the fact that it was in the water, but it didn't smell. now on land it probably would have roasted and then had a foul and putrid smell. (sorry about delayed responses friend)

You know, i have caught turtles at this location several times and take the hook out and release them. So i guess it is possible that someone snagged him. But not many people come here. Good answer, didn't even occur to me.

True True...it's all part of the fishing 'Cycle of Life". it's a give/take relationship. You reel fish in sometimes and then you lose lures sometimes...it's like an unspoken rule or 'gain and then lose' almost anyway>

@@Blueskies_23 I buy their food in bulk normally. I just spent around $112 maybe on frozen rats and it should last about 3 months. Give or take. When I get back into fishing I'm gonna use the fish to feed them also so that will chip away at the price a good bit also.

@@Blueskies_23They are all lizards. Mine are called Asian water monitors. They are related to the komodo dragon. Komodo dragons are also monitor lizards.

Nah, it's just that today was an exceptional one! Believe me, the past 3 days were very few and far in between for catching. I'm a new fisherman. Only started about 8 months ago, i'm a late starter Sir! Happy Exploring out there Nuttinmuch!

I literally just started using it about a month ago, i'm a new fisherman! I knew about the spinner lures and hook and sinker or hook and bobber. I like how it wiggles around in the water and jerky movements and that it works because it mimics a little erratic fish! Happy Casting out there Bradley!

I always try Dave! But like today it can be a little frustrating because i got snagged 3 times and lost 3 $5 lures! Fishing can get a little expensive for sure, so that just means i need to cast a little better Lol! Happy Trails Sir!

I'm good either way! i got one yesterday and today. I usually catch the ones with blue lines on the face, that's why when i catch something new i get excited! I also lost a couple nice lures in that snag spot!

It's nice having good fishing spots but it does not guarantee fish every time. a lot of time, mistakes, money (supplies), cussing...all goes into it. sometimes you get fish, sometimes you do not. I must confess that i've been on a roll here lately! But you have a boat and i do not so get out there put that thing to use!

Yes, i have a lot of watering holes all within about 2 miles! Enough to keep any fisherman busy to the gills Mane!

@@Blueskies_23 That's what's up. I have 4 different bank fishing spots. One my fear of boats goes away I'll be able to take my Jon boat out on the river again. That'll be endless possibilities.

@@Blueskies_23 Thalossiphonia I think it's called. (I just googled it) Lol It's a fear of large bodies of water. I go out on a large river about 500-1000 yards away from a dam. (Above the dam at that) I got out on this medicine that gradually.made me scared of everything. Last time I got on my boat I got about 20 feet from shore and was completely paralyzed in fear. Haven't tried since then. I'm off the meds so hopefully when it's.out of.my system I can get back out there and fish. Lol

No, not a military base...just a tower of in the middle of my town. Not sure exactly what it transmits, but it was definitely cool to look at!
